We loved the little details like the record player, the doll house with the coffee maker and the snacks from the pantry.
The staff at No. 15 was exceptionally helpful and kind.
We even got a little surprise in our room because it was my birthday.

Roman Remains and Georgian Grandeur
Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Try and go on an organised walking tour as it was so interesting and helpful. Beautiful buildings, many individual shops, great restaurants. We went to the Thermae spa which was lovely, roof top pool with Bath mineral water, jacuzzi, steam rooms, sauna.
Jane Austen museum was great if you are a fan.
So much to see and do, definitely worth a visit.
It is worth noting that it is a busy place.

Bath is always a great place to visit - the Abbey, the Baths...
Bath is always a great place to visit - the Abbey, the Baths, good art and lovely Georgian architecture. The Holbourne Museum is well worth a visit and there is often something extra going on, like the Jane Austen procession, an show and the art trail. The Theatre Royal is a hidden gem and worth visiting to see a show. Parking is terrible but there are reasonably priced taxis. More difficult with the buses, though. Lovely walking along the canal and in the parks and just around the town. Bath is also a good centre for visiting some of the other wonderful things to do and see in the immediate area.

From the architecture to the surrounding landscape, everything about Bath was picturesque and lovely. While our hotel was a little ways from the town center, both the public transit and local taxi service made it easy to travel back and forth. It was walkable and tourist friendly, which made our daily excursions relaxed and fun. We loved Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein and the Jane Austen Center, which are conveniently located almost next door to each other on historical Gay Street. The Roman Baths are a must-see, and truly bring the history of Bath alive. You'll get your Bridgerton fix in by visiting the Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park.

Bath has lots to offer, we visited the Abbey, Roman Baths, we did the open top bus tours and a boat trip. We ate at Sally Lunn’s enjoying their famous buns and trencher meals. There are plenty of shops many independent in side streets and a quirky bookshop and indoor market. There were many museums we didn’t see. On our last evening we went to the viewing point in Alexandra Park and had a wonderful view of the city. I was sad to leave as the Jane Austen week was starting.

Bath ranks as one of my fave cities so far & comparable to Barcelona & Paris. Yet, it’s so much more if pace, peace & tranquility matters. Clean & with a size equal to some other big cities yet not intimidating to getting around. So many transportation options — above & below ground. I’d love to return to Bath again!

Enjoyed the city bus tour, the Roman Baths are very interesting and the tour has been very well planned.
Good to see a thriving indoor market.
Went to the Herscel Museum. An excellent visit giving the sense of an ordinary Georgian town house. The kitchen especially. The science was complex but illustrated the supreme intelligence of Herscel and his sister and son.

We had an amazing weekend in Bath and The Dukes hotel was excellent . Our room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. The hotel was in a prefect location, only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bath, but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again in the future.

This was THE cheapest property on the system in Bath during our booking and compared with filfy 2 star hotel rooms in that price range we got spacious clean apartment 10 minutes level walk through nice park to Bath center with free parking space, Netflix, fully functioning kitchen in character Georgian house. Very good value for money if you can cope with few disadvantages

The Hotel is brilliantly placed for Bath City centre. The hotel is so stylish and comfortable and clean. Staff were so lovely. The Hotel is well organised. Food, the viee of Bath from the terrace is superb.
