A really lovely welcome when we arrived. The reception area was so welcoming and warm. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty. The breakfasts were delicious and we ate in the restaurant each evening of our stay and really enjoyed all the meals

Very friendly, super clean, fantastic decor, very high standard, bed was lovely and comfy, fab pillows! The hot tub was great, easy to book your slot/s, if like us it was a great start and end to a day. The hubby found the sauna to be an added bonus!! Fantastic seating areas by the river, very soothing to listen to the water rushing by, there is a lovely little summer house outside too, we would love to visit again in the summer. The biggest healthiest chickens in the front garden, don't forget to take them some grapes! Super breakfasts, and the smoothies were delicious, all in all not a bad thing to say about this fantastic little guest house!!

The property is in a lovely location. The accommodation was extremely well presented with everything you could think of included. We will definitely come back. We have stayed in lots of hotels and guest houses in Dumfries and this was by far the best.

A gorgeous few days with 3 generations of family. Such a beautiful spot - every window has another stunning view. The cottage was clean, spacious and really comfortable. The garden offered a safe space for the children to play and they pottered in and out while we cooked in the well equipped kitchen. We were so well looked after and such a friendly welcome with treats and milk on arrival. We'd definitely rebook and highly recommend. Maggie Forest was a great day out locally as was Ernespie Farm plus a lovely meal at the Laurie Arms.

The location was perfect, peace and quiet with wonderful views around it. The pod was well equipped with everything we needed. Everything was very clean and tidy. Cosy feeling all round. The decking was lovely overlooking the pond with the fire pit. Great value. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing break.
