I stayed at the Wheatsheaf for an event close by. They did a great job of managing the separate resturant/pub and Inn. The breakfast was amazing, and being able to eat great food onsite for dinner was a plus!

Can’t recommend South Lodge highly enough. The best spa hotel we have been to in the UK. Beautiful views of the countryside, fantastic and clean spa facilities as well as bedroom and great food in the restaurants and Botanica. Will be be back for a relaxing break in autumn!

Functional room for our three nights visiting family nearly. Great to have it serviced each day and clean towels offered on the second day. Everything provided that was required, including breakfast items. Bonus is the bistro on the ground floor. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner! Parking in the nearby carpark is very convenient. We were kept in touch with and offered upgrade and extended accommodation if needed
