Fantastic stay on a working farm in a beautiful, quiet village. Lynne and David were so generous and helpful, and even agreed to make me a packed lunch at no extra cost for my continuing journey. Comfortable bed and room, perfect amenities, great location. Dacre is ideally quiet and small but well-connected by footpaths (Dalemain loop, Eamont Way) for someone like me walking through the area, and has a lovely pub with great meals. I would definitely visit Lode farm B&B again

From start to finish we had a great coulpe of nights here. The staff are all polite and very friendly. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with a riverside view over the terrace. The food was spot on. A great place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights here. A lovely old historic building. Comfortable, spacious bedroom. Good location for touring. The gardens are a pleasure to see. The public rooms are out of an Agatha Christie novel. Food was great and the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
