Located in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is set in an 18th-century building and features an on-site bar and a restaurant serving... Nice meal in the bar in the evening, and really friendly staff. Good atmosphere and log fire in bar area.
Located in Drymen, The Clachan Inn has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Room was simple but cozy, with really confortable beds and good heating. Everything was sparingly clean. The restaurant has fine service and great food and beer. We had a wonderful time there. Also staff was absolutely kind and helpful.
Angel Cottage has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Drymen. Fitted with a patio, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. It’s a very beautiful cottage both outside and inside. The breakfast is very good. Room is very nice and comfortable.
Located within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, The Drymen Inn is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and scenic countryside. It was a proper Scottish Inn with a pub below the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was really close to a lot of lochs and places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend it.

Shandon Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located in Drymen, 16 mi from Glasgow. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Great location with beautiful grounds and sunset views over Loch Lomond. Jane went above and beyond, even upgrading our room! Clean and comfortable. She was so welcoming and charming and breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t have found a better value stop-over and only 15 mins walk from Drymen for dinner!
Located in the heart of the Scottish countryside, 8 miles from the shores of Loch Lomond, Dunroamin Apartment offers an apartment with free parking, Wi-Fi, and easy access to Balfron and Drymen, both... Very friendly host. Facilities were spot on specially the bed was very good. Early check in was possible. Lovely location.
The location was good as it was easy to get to both east & west coast of loch Lomond. We had a lovely meal at the Clachan Inn and would highly recommend it, it's bigger than it looks. If you fancy a climb with good views, then try Conic hill at Balmaha.....although we found it quite difficult.
Liked the bar staff. Didn't like that there was no restaurant and we had to eat in the bar which lacked any atmosphere and had a limited menu. Wouldn't have booked if we had been informed that there was no restaurant. Probably a good place for a base when exploring the Loch Lomond area if the price was right. No romantic eating as advertised. Rooms ok.
We really liked the location although parking was a problem - for the amount of guests it was a small car park which was made even smaller due to tables and chairs having to be spread out for social distancing! The local food was amazing we recommend fish and chips from the chippy.
Ok for a stop over for the west highland way hikers but wouldn't be ideal for a long stay especially with kids as not much to do in drymen. If you want to eat at the clachan inn you have to book in advance. If you want to dine out there isn't much choice. There is a spar shop across from clachan inn The bus to balmaha is easy enough to get to I stayed for 2 nights with my kids and there was dust on the bedside tables and hairs on the bathroom floor The TV wasn't working and there was a smell in the room. The staff are friendly enough and lots of hand sanitiser about the place.
Lovely, quaint wee village with friendly locals near beautiful Balmaha where you can enjoy lovely long walks. The Oak Tree Inn is a fab place to stop for lunch or dinner. The views there are stunning.
I would not recommend this hotel. It was very cold, the kitchen is closed in the evening and breakfast was very basic. Coffee was awful too. The roof of the gym was leaking and staff strategically placed towels to soak up the brown coloured water dripping from the ceiling. There was several towels scattered around the area. The decor is also very dull, needs updating. We had a meal in the local pub which was amasing, we sat beside the open fire to warm up. Food was sourced locally and cooked in the pub.
Our family had the most wonderful holiday at Strathendrick House. The house was generous, warm and had everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. By far the standout for our children were the amazing grounds. It was the perfect location for catching up with family and friends. We will definitely be coming back!
Everyone was so nice and friendly. Made us very welcome and great place to travel from to see other parts . Food was amazing. Pool great
It’s a very beautiful cottage both outside and inside. The breakfast is very good. Room is very nice and comfortable.
Lovely place. Well kept. Very clean
The staff dried our shoes for us!
