Located in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is set in an 18th-century building and features an on-site bar and a restaurant serving... Very nice hotel in one of the most wonderful places in the Highlands
Just 5 minutes from Loch Lomond, The Buchanan Arms Hotel & Leisure Club offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Along with a whiskey bar, stylish rooms and a restaurant, there is also a health club. The hotel is fabulous. Our group of 9 loved it. A very comfy bar and lounge area, super live music the Saturday night. The reception area and staff are lovely. The spa wonderful; lots of free parking; not far from Loch Lomond; the restaurant food nicely presented and good; the breakfast good and plentiful, the bedroom spacious and the bathroom new. Super.
Located in Drymen, Elmbank has a shared lounge, garden and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, and some accommodations at the guesthouse have a garden view. Absolutely amazing, owner was very kind, rooms were really nice and cosy. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue, since it was shared for just two rooms
Located in Drymen, The Clachan Inn has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. All rooms in the inn are equipped with a TV. Friendly staff, spotless room, great bar meal, good selection of beers and malts, we had the best time there and can thoroughly recommend. We are doing west highland way and stayed on our first night and really they showed what real hospitality is all about.
Located near to the village of Drymen in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Lomond Luxury Lodges offers lodges with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms with a choice of private hot tub, saunas and spa baths. Everything from the moment we went through the gate. Lovely little comfortable cabin with its own private hot tub.
Shandon Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located in Drymen, 16 mi from Glasgow. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. We liked the spacious ensuite bedroom, the luxurious bathroom, the very comfortable beds, the view from the bedroomwindow, the lovely sittingroom downstairs with coffee and tea facilities, books and magazines to read.
Located between Drymen and Gartocharn, Kilmaronock Manse B&B offers free WiFi, and free onsite parking. This listed Georgian property is surrounded by mountain scenery and overlooks Loch Lomond. They served us afternoon tea and scones when we arrived. They offered to book us a dinner reservation at the best pub/restaurant in town. We had two great breakfasts. They had great suggestions for exploring the area.
Located in the heart of the Scottish countryside, 8 miles from the shores of Loch Lomond, Dunroamin Apartment offers an apartment with free parking, Wi-Fi, and easy access to Balfron and Drymen, both... Lovely place. Has everything you need and a great place to stay for a few days. Definitely worth it!

This place was a site for sore eyes at the end of our first day on the West Highland Way! A huge room, crisp linens, on-site pub, and a short walk to the downtown (two blocks). Bathroom was well-equipped and sparkling, and breakfast - included in our rate - included fruit and cereal buffet plus the traditional full Scottish fare. Not the most inexpensive place we stayed on our walk but the price was comparable to other hotel-type accommodations.
Drymen is a small village about 10 miles from Lock Lomond where there is wonderful walks: trails up to Ben Lomond and trails along Loch Lomond. It is only 3/4 of an hour north of Glasgow. Drymen situated in the Highlands, is only a short drive to Oban, Fort William, Skye, and St Andrews. There is one really good pub, the Clacken, which serves wonder food.
Small quaint Inn with excellent staff. We ate breakfast and dinner in the Inn and it was very good; best porridge in Scotland. Courteous, friendly and helpful staff. If you asked for something and turned your head, it was right there. The bartender Davie was also our server at breakfast as the Inn is small and he was delightful. You would need a car to see the sights and go to Glasgow, but having the most comfortable bed in Scotland to come back to is well worth it!
Dry men is a small village with only 2 places to eat including the hotel. Both had similar menus which were a bit boring. We only found one shop. Drymen is well positioned to walk the West Highland Way and Loch Lomond. Bus stop with reasonable service just outside the hotel.
Great offerings for food options to suit a range of budgets. Taxi service situated next to the Winnock is very friendly and helpful and very well priced. Drymen is perfectly situated as a base for exploring the shores of Loch Lomond. A short drive to Balmaha and Riordinnan, and also to Balloch with it's castle and country park grounds which are fab for an appetite opening walk. Another great local attraction - Glengoyne Distillery - an absolute must!!
Immaculately presented B&B, 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Drymen, This place really does present itself like a 5 star hotel (better than some I’ve stayed in) with superb rooms and ensuite facilities. Beautiful gardens, ample parking, the owners are warm, friendly and helpful. Friendly dogs, cattle in the fields and a friendly horse too. Surrounded by peaceful countryside. Kids will love this place. Im in no doubt this will top all my other stays on the West Highland Way.
Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Scotland! The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the duty manager (I believe his name was Steve) deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.
Good accommodation for a couple of nights. Two adults and three children in our party. Property is compact and would be a squeeze for a longer stay. However, ideal location for great food and drinks at the Clapham Inn. Also handy for trips to Loch Lomond villages such as Luss, very scenic.
Host was fantastic, gave us our own space but made us feel very welcome. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Breakfast was exactly what was needed. Would recommend to anyone staying in Drymen.
Quiet, beds were very comfortable. We did not have a private bath but we only had to share it with one other room. The hotel bar and restaurants were fabulous
Great bath, unfortunately the bathroom window could not be opened. Plenty of great outdoors activities nearby, Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond, West Highland way.
There are bars and restaurants nearby The lady of the house is super energetic and friendly There is also parking nearby
Great place to stay on the West Highland Way, the property was clean, spacious, and it was an easy walk into Drymen.
Amazing lodge! So clean and modern and comfortable. If we are ever back in Scotland we want to stay here again!
Well kept and in a beautiful rural part of Scotland extremely quite.
Our family had the most wonderful holiday at Strathendrick House. The house was generous, warm and had everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. By far the standout for our children were the amazing grounds. It was the perfect location for catching up with family and friends. We will definitely be coming back!
A lovely landlady who was very welcoming!! Felt at home as soon as we stepped into the cottage. Welcome pack was amazing also the stocked cupboard was very handy!! It's in a brilliant location with all you need in a short car journey away.
On arrival met by friendly host who showed us around. Also tea coffee wine and eggs for our use. The bed was very warm and comfy. Great place to base ourselves for day trips or just relax in the apartment in beautiful surroundings.
Perfect getaway if you like walking and exploring the area. The homeowners did absolutely everything to make this a perfect quiet comfortable place. :)
The beds are super comfy, the location is beautiful and it's a great breakaway
Great place. Very nice and helpful host.
