Just 5 minutes from Loch Lomond, The Buchanan Arms Hotel & Leisure Club offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Along with a whiskey bar, stylish rooms and a restaurant, there is also a health club. The room was clean and the spa was perfect after a day of walking.
Located in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is set in an 18th-century building and features an on-site bar and a restaurant serving... Very nice hotel in one of the most wonderful places in the Highlands
Located within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, The Drymen Inn is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and scenic countryside. It was a proper Scottish Inn with a pub below the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was really close to a lot of lochs and places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend it.
Located in the charming conservation village of Drymen, Ashbank Bed & Breakfast offers cozy bedrooms with private bathrooms. Set on the West Highland Way, it is a 30-minute drive from central Glasgow.... The place is excellent and very clean, and the host, Tommy, was very welcoming and friendly. We followed his suggestion on trying the food at the local pub, best haggis balls we had. Would highly recommend.
Angel Cottage has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Drymen. Fitted with a patio, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. An Amazing B&B. The owner was lovely, really made us feel welcome. If we find ourselves staying in the area again then we’ll be back 😊
Located between Drymen and Gartocharn, Kilmaronock Manse B&B offers free WiFi, and free onsite parking. This listed Georgian property is surrounded by mountain scenery and overlooks Loch Lomond. This is a gem! A beautiful house and extraordinary friendly hosts. Maggie and Gorgon gave us great advise on the walks we wanted to do and fulfilled all possible wishes. The home cooked breakfast is amazing! And the room was spotless clean and always had fresh water etc.
Located on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, just 3 miles from the village of Drymen, Dunroamin Bed & Breakfast features free on-site parking and is 15 minutes’ drive from Loch... Everything! Room was beautiful, bed and bedding luxurious and very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and luxurious. Our hostess was charming, friendly, and very helpful. Location was very quiet, pastoral, and beautiful.
Shandon Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located in Drymen, 16 mi from Glasgow. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. Jane is a great host! We enjoyed a wonderful stay in spacious and lovely rooms and a tasty breakfast. Thank you Jane!
A lovely friendly village with 2 good cafes and 3 pub/restaurants. Good location in the Trossachs with Loch Lomond nearby. Great for walking fishing and touring. Recommend Skoosh for breakfast, lunch or tea. All 3 pubs where good for evening meals. Sorry to say we could not recommend staying at the Buchannan Arms Hotel.
Fantastic little. Village 3 pubs with great food. Spar and butchers if self catering. Lovely village green. Handy for Stirling and Loch Lomond. Drymen Inn was the best food but you have to book. Winnock pub has a great atmosphere but lots of coach parties. Balloacn is the place to be cruising and eating. Another great village. We will be back but never to Buchana Arms. Sorry But we had great breakfasts at Skoosh across the road.
I would heartily recommend Drymen as a place to stay. There is a gentleness, something special about the place. It was a beautiful drive down from Fort William and it is an ideal place to stay if you want to be out of a town, even a small one, but close enough to access Loch Lomond and other interesting places in that area. We had a light lunch at Balmaha which is just a few minutes away from Drymen but there is a good choice of places to eat.
The location was good as it was easy to get to both east & west coast of loch Lomond. We had a lovely meal at the Clachan Inn and would highly recommend it, it's bigger than it looks. If you fancy a climb with good views, then try Conic hill at Balmaha.....although we found it quite difficult.
Liked the bar staff. Didn't like that there was no restaurant and we had to eat in the bar which lacked any atmosphere and had a limited menu. Wouldn't have booked if we had been informed that there was no restaurant. Probably a good place for a base when exploring the Loch Lomond area if the price was right. No romantic eating as advertised. Rooms ok.
We really liked the location although parking was a problem - for the amount of guests it was a small car park which was made even smaller due to tables and chairs having to be spread out for social distancing! The local food was amazing we recommend fish and chips from the chippy.
Our family had the most wonderful holiday at Strathendrick House. The house was generous, warm and had everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. By far the standout for our children were the amazing grounds. It was the perfect location for catching up with family and friends. We will definitely be coming back!
The place is excellent and very clean, and the host, Tommy, was very welcoming and friendly. We followed his suggestion on trying the food at the local pub, best haggis balls we had. Would highly recommend.
