Frome is a beautiful market town with tons of character, as well as amazing independent shops, pubs, and restaurants. Highly walkable, and the green belt next to the river is very beautiful and peaceful. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, and Bath is not far by train.

It’s a lovely, quirky town full of history with some lovely old buildings, full of Character. It also has a really good selection of individual shops and eateries. It hasn’t been ruined by the larger standard type of shops you find in most cities.

Frome has a lot in common with Bath but without the prices. It is full of quirky shops and quirky people too! A decent range of places to eat and a couple of good pubs. An easy drive or bus ride both to Bath and to many other nearby towns and villages

A lovely town with lots of independent shops and cafes.

A lovely town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Many art and cultural options, including a wonderful bookshop where every book was incredibly interesting and covered many historical and unusual topics. We saw a live music gig at The Cheese and Grain, and had dinner at The Cordero Lounge, both excellent. We intend to visit again and would highly recommend.
