United KingdomOnly stayed here for the Hardmoors 55 race in Helmsley so went straight to bed . Was gutted because the bar and sitting room is lovely . So cosy and welcoming . Bar man was so friendly and helpful . I’d definitely stay here again for another occasion .

The location of the property was central to all the places...
The location of the property was central to all the places we wished to visit. Several exceptional places not far away to eat, our favourites being the George and Dragon at Kirby Moorside and the Middleton Arms at Middleton. Lovely firm bed I went with a bad back which improved during our stay.

Barmoors is actually located at Hutton-le-Hole not Lastingham. Hutton-le-Hole is a beautiful Yorkshire village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors with easy access to towns and visitor attractions. A great area for walking.

Fabulous old house with light and airy rooms, comfy beds and treats like Nespresso in the room. Garden is amazing - so tranquil with afternoon tea to relax with. The hosts are so friendly, genuinely interested in what you’re doing and so very kind and helpful. We have called many a time for tea and scones when cycling but our first stay and it will be a firm favourite now. You can walk and cycle in amazing countryside from the door.

It was in a beautiful setting, tranquil garden, peaceful village location. A friendly pub qithin walking distance. A lovely walk near by to the moors with hotel rea rooms enroute.
Accommodation was very peaceful and cosy. All our needs were catered for.

Lovely situation in the quiet village of Lastingham and well placed for walking in the Moors. House was very cozy and warm. Appreciated a few basics left milk, bread and biscuits. One minor problem was quickly sorted by Gill.
