The cottage was absolutely charming with modern day furnishing mixed with antique items. The owners / hosts have gone to great lengths to make this a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The bedrooms are beautiful and gives you those feelings of past history with beautiful wooden beams and original features. The kitchen has all your modern day amenities and is perfectly matched with the historical feel of the cottage. The cottage is very conveniently located in the centre of the village with cafes, restaurants, pubs, and convenience stores all within a short walking distance. Our stay couldn’t have been nicer and would recommend a visit to this beautiful location and stunning cottage.

Really enjoyed our one night stay and wish we had been staying over longer. Lovely property bang central. Plenty of room for the two of us and we even had our Bungay friends over that evening and had a meal together in the dining room. Nice outdoor area. Exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfy with lovely bedding. There was water, eggs, soya milk, oat milk and ordinary milk in the fridge and the host left some tasty cheese scones and homemade jams, Marmalade etc plus sour dough bread. Everything needed was to hand and has been well thought out. We did wonder if it might be noisy at night due to its central location but no it’s very quiet as the bedroom is on the back. We slept very well. We will definitely stop here again when visiting our Bungay friends. Many thanks to the hosts.

The accommodation is absolutely lovely. Very comfortable, and thankfully the host (Dave) made sure it was nice and warm for us considering the time of year. Dave also went above and beyond in communicating with us and advising us on any queries we had regarding our stay, gave us practical information such as local taxi numbers, places to shop, etc, and was incredibly prompt in his replies. Seems like a really friendly and genuine bloke. We weren't here for leisure as such, so unfortunately we couldn't spen much time Bungay or Beccles, but for the brief hour or two we were in either they both seemed quite nice. Surprisingly hip! (Although I did no research on the areas beforehand, so) and literally every person we met was really friendly. I'd like to come back to this area - maybe in the summer though haha - and explore more. It seems lovely

It’s in a great location to visit family. It’s spacious, clean and impeccably presented. Beka goes out of her way to welcome her guests with a welcome selection of goodies in the kitchens. The bed linen is clean and crisp and the bathrooms are all lovely. Hot water plentiful and the house was cosy and warm when it was -5°C outside!

Stunningly beautiful house, with eight fantastic rooms, lots of space, lots of extra things there like a trunk full of games, a laundry room full of extra towels and bedding, a kitchen very well stocked (very handy when we forgot a bottle opener and kitchen foil). I booked it to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family and it was perfect. The town is lovely, the facilities are great and the owner left little touches like a 40th champagne flute for me. Very helpful owner who sent very detailed information about the property including parking etc which was very helpful.
