Absolutely everything (and Im fussy). beautifully refurbished bar and spotless, comfortable and well appointed accommodation. everything you need and easy parking. delicious food in the bar/restaurant and a great choice of all courses beautifully cooked. very sociable and professional owners and staff and nothing was too much trouble. eg wanting different veg and spuds from those suggested on the menu. Loved the breakfast room with great choice of teas/coffees, cereals and fruit. And of course a fry-up and other options all freshly cooked to your specific requirements. Location was prefect too at the entrance to the valley with many walk options.

Julie the owner was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The bed was very comfy and we had an excellent nights sleep. The breakfast was awesome and there was lots of it. Parking was good make sure to go into the property and ask for the parking permit. All in all fantastic stay.

Morpeth is an excellent Northumberland market town. It has lovely parks and riverside walks as well as a superb range of shops. The excellent coast is easily accessible as is the beautiful countryside.

Morpeth is a lovely market town, plenty of shops, places to eat etc, lovely walks along the river, there is also an excellent bus service, taking you all along the coastal villages, Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahorses etc, also a service to Newcastle, ideal if you want a break from driving. Most car parks are free, but you do need a display disc, most accommodation supply these.

Morpeth town centre is a short walk from the accommodation,...

Morpeth town centre is a short walk from the accommodation, & offers a good variety of pubs, and restaurants. The bus hub seems very busy. As does the sports centre, which has a 25 metre pool, gym, & also a cafe & library. It is a good base for exploring the area, be it Newcastle or up the coast with its castles & beaches.

Ideally placed next to the river just a few minutes walk into town. Morpeth has plenty of places to eat and drink, plus some lovely walks, and the people are so friendly. Places like Alnwick, Bamburgh and Tynemouth are all within easy driving distance.

Beautiful friendly town with plenty of shops, eat out venues, ( the Sun Inn) excellent varities, supermarkets a plenty. Cafes and coffee shop aplenty. Definately worth a visit with an overnight stay to get the full benefit of Morpeth.

Morpeth is a lovely county market town with very good shops...

Morpeth is a lovely county market town with very good shops and places to eat. The local people are very nice and friendly and always happy to help out. There are some gorgeous parks and walks along the river bank and it is close to some wonderful beaches like Alnmouth and Bamburgh and a coastline full of history and pilgrimage. The city of Newcastle is only a short train ride away. Morpeth is a truly interesting and attractive town and well worth a visit.
