We felt very much at home. The proprietor thought of everything. Our room was clean and cosy. We will be making it a point to stay again. Also, the food was exceptionally good. The restaurant is closed on Mondays but there are other restaurants close by. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave, so we will be trying to stay there again in the future. 10/10 recommend.

Our stay at Dalhousie Castle was simply wonderful! We had one of the themed rooms, which was really cool! The room was very comfortable, and it was such fun staying amongst all of the history. The food was fantastic, too. We spent the morning walking around the grounds and then did the falconry experience, which I highly recommend!! We will definitely be returning to this amazing place.

The accommodation was beautiful, the staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast included in the price was delicious. Only the location of the hotel is a bit impractical for travelers without their own car (but everything can be solved by bus, which leaves from a small village 15 minutes' walk from the hotel).

As many reviewers mentioned, truly unique. For us up with a longhouse in Sarawak and timber cabin in Alaska. Host were excellent, brief introductory tour and then on our own. Wife found stone circular stairs a challenge but our hosts had provided a plentiful selection of food. Covered both evening meal and breakfast.
