Located just 50 metres from Rhyl’s promenade and sandy beach, the Westminster Hotel is opposite the White Rose shopping centre. The Westminster has a 24-hour reception. Excellent room and comfort. Staff friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed my stay.
The Cove Guest House is offering accommodation in Rhyl. The accommodation provides free WiFi. The units in the guest house are equipped with a kettle. We stayed at the cove for one night to break up the journey between hollyhead to stafford. Karen and Mark were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We were in the family room which was a great size and absolutely spotless! We were a little nervous staying in a bnb with our 2 small children but from the outset the children were made feel very at home...so much so...a highchair and a peppa pig place set was laid out at breakfast for our youngest. ..a gorgeous touch! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it too...if we are ever back In Rhyl we will stay here again as it's a brilliant location for shops and the beach...thanks again Mark and Karen...we has a great stay!

Just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach, Berwyn Guest House in Rhyl (Trip Advisor certificate of excellence 2018) offers 4 star rated bed and breakfast accommodation less than half a mile from the town... The couple who run the property are excellent people and they even did our ironing of clothes, accommodated our early check in request, nice location and friendly people. We will stay next time there when we go.

Mostly ate at Weatherspoons - breakfast and evening meal. Did a lot of walking on the lovely sandy beach and around the shops. February found some places closed still but you could see in the summer months the place will come to life a bit more.
I love the walk along the sea front and along the beach decent shops arcades the cinema they are currently in the process of building a brandnew leisure center on the sea front with slides and things there is the sea life center also mini railway a lake there are plenty of bars and restraunts and take aways etc then up the road in towyn there is the fair ground and arcades shops and market
Some parts appear quite run down however they are obviously making a major effort. New swimming pool being built, new cinema etc. New hotels and pubs. I just hope they don't put the prices too high, or it will limit availability to all. SeaWorld centre was good, if a little expensive, child price almost the same as adult and no family ticket prices. Some shops excellent but some very outdated. Sad to see the condition if the indoor market. I think that Rhyl in a few years could well be back to how it used to be. The beach was fun, the children enjoyed collecting shells and drawing pictures in the sand. All in all we had fun and the children enjoyed it, which is the most important.
We stayed at the hotel in Rhyl with the intention of visiting other places in Wales such as Llandudno and Anglesey. Rhyl seemed to be quite a poor town. The front has had a lot of work and looks nice but the town is clearly quite poor and run down. There were quite a few homeless people around too.
Even though I have not been to Rhyl for many years I was pleasantly surprised how much it had changed for the better the Palvillon is a credit to Rhyl and hope to be back soon and I highly recommend the Cove Guest House to all my family & friends. It was guite easy to get around plenty of places to eat plenty of bars as well
I thought the Pavilion venue which is why I was there for a show was really good. Not a bad seat in the house....all feeling very connected to the stage. Book early for the restaurant there overlooking the sea if you want a table and allow plenty of time to get served before the show. The promenade is great for lovely long walks by the water and a regeneration programme certainly has improved Rhyl over the years.

Bedrooms were a good size, the decor was pleasant and the front lounge was a nice room. The house was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had lots of fridge and freezer capacity. The house had its own parking space (although manoeuvring the car into it between a pillar box, lamp post and a road sign took time and care). For us the location was excellent, (close to relatives) although generally Rhyl looked rundown.

Played an Eclipse Pink Floyd Experience show at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre and needed a room close by. Mark and Karen are excellent hosts. They work really hard to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The Breakfast is great and you get more than enough . Rooms are spotless and recently decorated. Keep up the good work Would recommend .

The staff was friendly and helpful finding alternative eating establishment when we discovered that this hotel did not serve dinner. We did end up at a good Italian restaurant and a selective menu.
