The room was lovely. The food was excellent- I think it was the best roast beef I’ve ever had. Every member of staff we spoke to was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Old market town with no signs of decaying and local businesses appear to be thriving. Had a lovely meal in the Wheatsheaf Inn very reasonably priced. Sandbach is very close to Stoke on Trent and an ideal base to explore the Potteries area.

Nice town, with good places for shopping, cafes and pubs.
Nice town, with good places for shopping, cafes and pubs.
Plenty of nice places to visit.
House cafe makes good Coffee, as does the black cat cafe.
Old Hall Hotel and the Wheatsheaf, ( which is just across the street),
for fine dining.
The George is a very busy pub. Terrific value for money.
The Market Tavern and the Lower Chequer also very good pubs. All of them are only a few minutes away.

The View is in a very central location of Sandbach, easy access to everywhere.
The town is well kept, pretty, with some oldie worldly buildings and cobbles in main street and square. Flower boxes everywhere. Plenty of character in the heart of Sandbach.

We have stayed at Bears Head a few times and overall it has been a pleasant stay and the breakfast was very good. The walkways are grimy and the rooms need some TLC, They were to be refurbished. Delayed for various reasons but now planned for September 2023.
However this stay 23 August 23, the cleanliness was rock bottom with the pillows ( no pillow protectors) just yellow stains all over the pillows and they smelt horrible and the two chairs hadn't been cleaned in years

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now.
Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. A good location for access to places of interest. As well as Sandbach there are other attractive small towns locally. Very good Farm activity child friendly attractions nearby, Wheelock Hall farm was excellent. Jodrell Bank observatory is great for a good family day out. Hotel is within easy reach of Knutsford and Tatton Park. There’s a train station with parking in Holmes Chapel to get into Manchester easily. Overall a very good location.
Lovely apartment. Clean, spacious and very well presented! Great location - would definitely stay again when we’re back in Sandbach visiting family! Only one thing was missing for me personally and that was a hair dryer (but I guess you can pack your own) but not always ideal when trying to pick light for a weekend trip.
We were prepared for a Continental breakfast and it was very good, including a warmed Croissant. It was quiet at night and the bed comfortable. We were unable to explore Sandbach, an enchanting little place, this time but did find the Fish and Chip shop at the Top of the Hill easy to get to and very good, price and food.
The set up appears strange as 2 business interact, in the same building.
However it works very well, unlike other hotels with a pub nearby ( you know the ones) that you wander out for breakfast.
All was very good, breakfast was stunning and have information on your other places to stay.
