Hello, A True Friend has stayed at this property previously and has recommended this Property, My Room was really lovely, and was in a quiet location. The Breakfasts filled me up each day I was staying. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to travel home earlier. The Guest House is really clean and hospitable. There is a bus stop close by, and the Railway Station is close by along the main road. This property offers scrumptous evening meals. But there are other options including a microwave in the Lounge upstairs, so you can get something from the Supermarket and heat it etc. There is also a very good pub that does meals which is by the Railway Station.

    Lovely welcome from Sarah. Was very accommodating. Had everything we needed, even an airfryer, which we didn't get to use this time as was always out, but even though was a small place it was ideal for our 4 day stay. Also very quiet so had a good night's sleep. Recommend.

    The Thornton Hunt is a quaint, traditional country inn. The owners were friendly and accommodating and the staff were also friendly and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the bed was comfortable. In all, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend the Thornton Hunt.

    The apartment was clean, warm, and inviting. It was as the description, it has all the amenities mentioned. The owner, Sarah, had even supplied and tea bags and milk. The location was important to me as I was working nights and it was only 15 minutes from my project. As I was working nights, it was essential that I could sleep during the day without any noise or disturbance, it was ideal.

    I have given a previous review as this is an extension of a stay, I booked 4 days and loved it so much we booked an extra two days, as I have said this is a first class B&B. Spotless,spacious, food exceptional, hosting amazing, I didn’t mention in the last review it is also cleaned daily.

    What a wonderful place, a lovely greeting from Petra on arrival, and then we walked into our suite, wow amazing and absolutely spotless. Fresh milk in the fridge and some fresh muffins on arrival. Bed was amazing, best night sleep away from home I have ever had. Bathroom spacious, shower very powerful and a great temperature. I have mobility issues and this suite was perfect. Breakfast was of such good quality and plenty of it. We booked for 4 nights but stayed 6 nights and still didn’t want to leave and we are looking forward to returning

    Peaceful rural location, superbly equipped suite with a spacious layout comprising lounge/dining room, very large bedroom, and ensuite shower room. Very comfortable furnishings, and a superb and plentiful breakfast served in room at the dining table. Petra is a host who very clearly loves what she does. It really shows.
