United KingdomWe absolutely loved it here. Brilliant staff and management, lovely really old building. The alcohol was a good price, the food was absolutely amazing (we finished off the food, my son over ordered,,, plenty of food). The locals more than welcomed us here. We had a great time.
We would not hesitate staying here again. We want to stay here again, wish it was our local... Absolutely brilliant.

Lovely kitchen, cosy living room and ample space in the bedrooms upstairs. The hosts were extremely accommodating to our needs and requests, and were the friendliest of people. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We were in the area for the Porsche Experience and stayed at...
We were in the area for the Porsche Experience and stayed at the Escapade at Silverstone which was fabulous. We were only there for one night, but we did eat out near the racecourse (before checking in) and the local area looked very pleasant.

Can't really comment on Towcester as the Crown Inn is in a rural location and we did not visit Towcester itself. We enjoyed the inn's peaceful village location and the surrounding countryside. Be aware HS2 works are ongoing between Weston and the M40 although you can still access the M40 via an easy diversion

Very nice historic market town with plenty to keep you interested. Gorgeous historic parish church, riverside walks, nice range of independent shops. Decent coffee shops and some nice pubs.
Dog friendly bars. Free parking is available, but can be busy. A good base for a range of National Trust and English Heritage properties, nearby Stoke Bruerne for canal trips and Blisworth Tunnel, Towcester race course and various nearby craft centres.

The hotel has impressive views of the race track if you book a king track room. Breakfast was lovely. Staff pleasant. Resteraunt over priced and not much to do there in the evenings entertainment wise.

A lovely High Street with lots of different shops.
A lovely High Street with lots of different shops. A good scattering of restaurants, especially the Truva, a Turkish restaurant. genuinely authentic Turkish food (I have lived in Turkey). Alleyways and side streets to explore. And of course Siverstone race circuit is nearby and the lovely Northamptonshire countryside

Seemed a very nice town .
Seemed a very nice town . Bletchley Par and Silverstone were the plan. However we gave Silverstone a miss and went to the Canal Museum instead. Would recommend B.P. it was wonderful. Canal Museum picturesque and tranquil.

Beautiful place on a working farm adjacent to the main house. Lovely park-like feel to the farm with its horse-chestnut trees and green paddocks.
Towcester is close by and is a nice town to shop in and has the usual services and nice pubs.
The accommodation is very comfortable and I wish that I had booked for longer.

Breakfast was good Saturday and fresh
Breakfast Sunday had been standing to long and was cold.
I felt the coffee and toast should have been brought to table as with other 5 star hotels

The room was clean and beautifully decorated. There was a lovely outside space to sit and the hotel is in the centre of Towcester so convenient for everything you need.
