Milton Keynes is a lovely place. We stayed at Adventurer’s Village which was a nice quirky little camping village. We attended the Take That concert at the MK Stadium and had a great evening. Our only disappointment was the service received from Skyline taxis - I do not recommend them to anyone!! We prebooked a taxi for 11pm after the concert and we’re directed to walk 10 minutes from the stadium to meet our taxi at Bounce. We were left waiting for over an hour with the operator just hanging up on us each time we tried to get an update on our booking. We eventually got a taxi at 12.15 after they made us walk another 10 minutes back to Asda. There were also approximately another 20 groups of people all waiting for Skyline taxis. They were obviously taking advantage of the situation knowing everyone would be stranded and be forced to wait!! We also visited David Lloyd in Milton Keynes which was a lovely club. Great facilities and fab food - had a lovely club breakfast. As we drove through we spotted a few splash parks, a lake and a big playground which we will definitely be visiting on our next visit when we bring the children.
After getting used to the traffic system, we visited most of the tourist attractions nearby, including Bletchley Manor, most signposted well so no difficulty in finding our way around. Shopping area was very good with plenty of eating outlets, i.e cafe's and restaurants. Unfortunately did not leave ourselves much time to visit leaisure areas such as the many parks around Milton Keynes.
We only really went it MK Don shopping and leisure centre but there are just a good amount of shops - it’s more of a retail park than shopping centre and it’s outside so when it rained we did get wet! The football stadium is n the same place as the shops and traffic did get really busy! There was a lot to do when we were trying to find things to do! We are at Mister Tea breakfast at Mister Teas Cafe and the food was very nice! We then ate a t Nando’s which you can’t go wrong with!
Theres alot to see, theres so much happening on Sunday so we had to go back and book till Monday for £45.00 per room. Nice family pubs. No traffic. I meet some friends there that ment we had after party in our hotel rooms. Its was just right
Milton Keynes is great for shopping and there are lots of green parks for walking or running. The city is centrally located geographically, so easy to get to London, Birmingham and other parts of the UK.
A nice place to visit. Plenty of places to explore and lots of shopping areas. Very clean. Traffic flow around the place is amazing, but make sure you know how to negotiate round-a-bouts before taking to the road.

Friendly pub atmosphere. Some of the rooms are accessible without going into the bar area if like me you are a woman on her own. However it's a nice friendly pub /hotel, staff are welcoming and I didn't feel intimidated on my own..The menu is varied and the food well cooked and presented. Its old but it's very clean and good value for money. Its on the main high street of Stony Stratford and a short drive to Woverton station with trains into Milton Keynes and London.A gem in Stony Stratford.

-Location, but if you are looking for value for money and location you have to stay in jury’s inn hotel its better, new rooms and bigger in size and comfortable. -My confirmed connecting rooms were not available when check in and the receptionist told me we don’t know how they give it to someone else!!! And had to stay in separate rooms for one night before giving me a connecting rooms the other day ,although i have kids traveling with me.

The central location and excellent facilities. The apartment provided plenty of space for 3 adults and it was great to be able to cook for ourselves. It was a lot cheaper than the local hotel we normally stay in when we are over visiting family. We will definitely be back!

Clean friendly staff and a fantastic price. My wife said it was better than the Hilton we stayed in New York and she was right. For the price we paid it’s a great hotel and does exactly what it says on the tin.
