Lovely traditional pub restaurant and hotel near Usk. It is very dog friendly and well maintained. We stayed at a ground floor room with access to the garden. The room itself was spacious with everything you need including dog blanket, bowl and biscuits. It also had a clean bathroom with a nice shower. We were impressed by the breakfast choices in the morning and that includes our dog which was allowed in and had a complementary dog sausage.

Such a lovely hotel. The rooms were modern and well equipped, staff were so friendly and welcoming. It has a really good steak restaurant as well. Breakfast was so nice and the team were incredible.

Fantastic small but extremely friendly inn. Very warm and welcoming, even down to regular customers of the bar. Breakfast was one of the best we've experienced. Amazing quality of produce and cleanliness second to none. Fantastic value for money

This place is just beautiful - set in the most gorgeous grounds, decorated and furnished beautifully, a great hot tub and outside space - it was perfect for a get-together with friends. The hosts were available as soon as we had an issue with the lights - got back to me within minutes of texting, and the problem was sorted quickly. Would love to stay here again one day, for longer this time!
Really enjoyed the quaint town Usk. Very beautiful place and you can see people take pride in their homes and gardens. Stayed at The Castle Inn which was excellent! Right in the heart of Usk, dog-friendly, lovely owners, very clean rooms, plenty of free parking around!
Very easy to walk around Usk - nice walks, pubs, restaurants and fish and chips. I look forward to returning to Usk in the future!

Seemed short on staff.
Seemed short on staff. Restaurant service was extremely slow. Waited 90 minutes for food. Pool was cold. We were warned that jacuzzi was not functioning heat-wise but the pool was too cold to relax in.
Great location and setting. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Great little town, with everything you could need and wonderful ancient castle ruins. Brilliant location, between the beautiful Wye valley to the East and Brecon Beacons to the West and, although it is a town very much centred in the countryside, it is quickly accessible from motorways. I'll be going back for a longer stay, I hope!

We didn't get too much chance to explore the town but what we saw made us want to return. Very picturesque and we were lucky enough to enjoy good weather. Lots of places to eat and drink and some interesting independent shops to discover.

Close to the M4 and 30 minutes drive from Newport. Lovely setting. Very attractive main hotel building with an inviting courtyard ideal for drinks on a summer evening. Easy parking. Efficient check in. Friendly, helpful staff who were able to accommodate our request for an early breakfast on Sunday. Comfortable bed. TV in the bedroom. Free access to Wi-fi.
We just needed a one night stay in Usk and booked 2 rooms and a table in the restaurant. The meal we had there was lovely, we watched the Scotland v Germany football game afterwards in the snug before retiring to our room for the night. Everything was clean and comfortable and we would not hesitate in staying there again.
An excellent holiday self catering apartment. It was ideal for our family visiting extended family.
It was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was of a great standard as were the bedrooms and living room.
