This cottage was lovely and clean and a great place for a base to visit the different places in the cotswolds only 20 mins drive from each location, Winchcombe itself was absolutely beautiful, the cottage is set in a little lane just off the little town ,it has chinese takeaway just round the corner and some other local shops ,lots of pubs and St Peter's church is about 10 min walk which is a must to go visit, hosts for the cottage were lovely ,easy to get hold of and more than happy to go out of there way to make your stay comfortable. Please visit: Bourton on the water Broadway Only 20 mins drive

Beautiful, historic pub oozing olde worlde charm. Great attention to detail in pub and rooms alike. Bed and linens good quality and very comfortable. Dog friendly. The property did not have parking but public parking accessed direct through the pub garden and only £4 per day.

Everything was amazing (location, service, food) and specially the team. They treated us like family and made us feel at home. Liza (our dog) loved it and was running around freely and everyone loved it.

Amazing apartment. I stayed in the Siena Suite. Exceptional. Clean, comfortable, close to bus station. Very easy walk to town centre and shops. Train just 8 / 10 minute drive. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There are a few stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, be aware of that. However, staff are accommodating with this ,if available . I highly recommend this place. Safe and secure.

Winchcombe is a quiet village and there isn't much there really, but it's like a place lost in time. The White Hart Inn is full of character and a great place for a stop over. Although unless I had a good reason, other than work, I wouldn't have been there. But if you want to see the Cotswolds, then it's an idea base.

Winchcombe is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. It has all the services; places to stay, food shops, cafes, restaurants; within walking distance. Lovely walks around Sudeley Castle, up to Hill Barn, to Hailes Fruit Farm, to Bellas Knap and up on Cleeve Hill. You can take the steam train to Broadway or to Cheltenham from Winchcombe too. With a car you can visit Stanway, Ford, Gretton, Guiting Power and other villages with lovely pubs.

Lovely Cotswold town with Walkers are Welcome status. Plenty of walks in the area although limited cafes and restaurants in the town. Well worth a visit overall - the locals are on the whole very friendly!

Classic Cotswolds Village. Lots to see.

Classic Cotswolds Village. Lots to see. You need to make a week of your visit to do the area justice. Ate at three separate establishments of an evening including a Chippy and two Pubs. Easyish to get to , but take care if without personal transport. Bus services can be infrequent and also very few on Sundays/ Public Holidays. Heritage Railway (Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway) runs from Racecourse Station in Cheltenham, to Broadway calling at Winchcombe.

Pokey little town with narrow streets and antique shops.

Pokey little town with narrow streets and antique shops. Restricted parking so you can't stay long. As a market town for the surrounding area it looks great and I'm sure locals enjoy it. Many places to eat in the evening so perhaps this is where to come if you're living or holidaying in a cottage nearby.
