I stayed at Hotel 717 Kazbegi for one night and absolutely loved it. The room was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully designed, with a cozy and modern interior. The mountain view was stunning — a perfect way to start the day. Also it is located close to the center. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kazbegi!

The facilities look even better in person than in the photos I saw in Booking before making the reservation. The hotel staff are exceptionally kind, they are always willing to help and answer any query we had. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and everything is kept spotless. We were genuinely surprised, in the best possible way.

A lovely hotel with the Mountain View, fully furnished. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the beautiful sunrise from the mountain. The room was very warm, which is important. The lovely owner is very detail oriented. Truly recommended!

It is a very clean and high-quality hotel. It provides convenient rooms with all the necessary furniture, even a small table for doing paperwork in case it is necessary. In the dining room, you can find a lot of big tables and always existing hot water and coffee, and a variety of tea types. The big parking lot lets you park in the closed hotel area to sleep calmly while your car is safe. People who work in the hotel are available and can speak Russian, English, and, of course, Georgian, so you'll never be stuck with your questions. In ten minutes of driving down to the city, you can find shops and different food places, and also a gas station. The area around the hotel - it is mountains, with all their beauty. Also, at this hotel, I experienced the most beautiful breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.

I am at a loss for words to express my feelings. There was an elderly lady in the staff whose name I don’t know. As we were about to leave from the parking area, specially she called us over and insisted we have tea or coffee before going. We were surprised by her warmth and care—it felt so personal. She seemed to be around my mother’s age. Then, she even packed a cake for my daughter, saying it’s for her to enjoy on the way.

    We wanted a hotel with a Mountain View & Grand View was just perfect for that. We hiked up to the church early in the morning to take in the views of Kazbegi & rewarded ourselves with a delicious breakfast in town @ Tiba after - really recommend . Short & sweet trip !

    Went there in July which gave us perfect 20°C and a hideaway from the extreme heat in the valleys. Absolutly wonderful views of the mountains around town. Lots of different treks from novice to expert. The town itself is a bit of a construction zone probably due to yearly spring floodings.

    Absolutely stunning!

    Absolutely stunning! The drive up is incredible with amazing views at every turn. Gergeti Trinity Church with Mount Kazbeg towering behind it was breathtaking - one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. Great hiking, fresh mountain air, and jaw-dropping scenery everywhere. Even with some clouds, the views were spectacular. Perfect day trip from Tbilisi despite the long drive.

    The town is busy being on the Georgian Military Highway and...

    The town is busy being on the Georgian Military Highway and lacks the charm of other towns. However, the beauty is in the absolutely gorgeous surrounding landscape and the hiking. Do the Trinity Church hike and drive to the Dariali Monastery Complex on the Russian border and have a nice lunch at the cafe.

    Really small place, not much to do at night and there arent any market near the top side of Kazbegi, you have to walk down to the center and then you have to take a taxi back to your place. On the other hand, view and nature is amazing.

    Excellent hotel. good food for lunch, diner or breakfast. Very convenient location to go hiking in the mountains, or looking for birds in the nearby valleys. Sufficient space for carpark, although after the rain, it becomes quite muddy. Sympathique and helpful staff

    my favourite stay in Georgia, i had the bedroom with the window facing the valley and the mountain range, it was very cozy although it was cold outside (heater and comfortable blankets), the family that runs the hotel is also very friendly and hospitable, the location is awesome to hike to church and the glacier because you are basically straight at the trailhead. I could say a lot more positive things, just come and visit

    Rooms on one side of the hotel overlook the town with Mt Kazbegi in the background - stunning Breakfast is amazing. Staff are very friendly although there is a slight language barrier if you don’t speak Georgian or Russian, but it can be easily overcome. Hotel overall is very modern, clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful lounge upstairs and roof terrace above that to get even better views.

    Incredible view from the room to Kazbek and Gergeti Church, big balcony, good location, near to a bus stop. Comfortable clean rooms with all necessary stuff, including bathrobe and slippers. New hotel, so, all furniture is new. Friendly, intelligent, hospitable owners. Treated with the best Georgian traditions with home made wine and sweets! Thanks for the good time ! It was a right choice
