The property is low-key but thoughtfully designed with everything you could need. Everything was well maintained, the staff was delightful, super friendly and always professional and available but never intrusive. The rooms were tastefully decorated with kitchens that functioned perfectly and all new bathroom fixtures.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring the northern part of Basse-Terre. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is great, the breakfasts generous and varied - but most of all, the staff (from management to reception to housekeeping) is absolutely wonderful. During our stay we slept long and well, lounged at the pool, drank at the bar, walked to the spectacular beach down the hill, and dined at great restaurants in Deshaies. We also enjoyed to company of other travelers from all parts of the world. Our two-week trip to Guadeloupe was complicated by some medical issues, and the staff here went above and beyond to help make our trip less stressful and more enjoyable. A truly delightful experience in every respect.

Set on Anse du Petit Bas Vent Beach in Deshaies, this pleasant resort offers comfortable rooms and bungalows with views of the Caribbean Sea.

The location of Fort Royal is exceptional, unique. The beaches adjacent to the hotel are pristine and incredibly beautiful. Perhaps among the best on the island. The staff is friendly, fun, diverse. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. Cocktails are wonderful. Price is frankly reasonable.

Friendly and efficient hostess, with quick responses to any requests or questions. The bed and furniture were very comfortable, with a handy fridge and microwave. Terrific views from the property which was clearly marked by a sign on the main road. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and we had large pool all to ourselves.
