Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.Guest review byDuffettSouth Africa - 10.0

Notwithstanding the 15 minute walk from our accommodation to the town centre, we really enjoyed our time in Archangelos. I would recommend for people that like staying in a very Greek town and preferably to those who are hiring a car, should they wish to visit beaches. A lovely clean and modern house, well-equipped, with a large garden with lots of seating areas, and a barbecue, and wonderfully welcoming owners. Quietly situated in a rural position amongst olive groves, yet only five minutes from the main east coast road, so an excellent base for exploring. Nearby Stegma and Charaki were both lovely, low key with a few tavernas, and the interior of the island offers interesting towns and quiet roads. Rhodes Old Town is a must see, as is Lindos, although very crowded - go early! A trip to beautiful Symi via ferry from Rhodes Town is highly recommended.Guest review bydjt14United Kingdom

We felt like we were staying in a family home rather than a hotel. The hotel is very cute and pet friendly (They have 2 cats and a dog ☺️). The rooms are very clean and the kitchen has all the necessary equipment. There is also a beautiful balcony with sea and nature views. The beach is a 2-minute walk down the hill. The town is nice to reach in about 1h all interesting spots on the island. There are shops and services all around the house and the possibility to park the car (not private, but never had problems finding free slots). The owner is super kind and provided us with quick answers to all questions and welcomed us warmly. Air conditioning helps sleeping sound even on very hot nights. The price is very interesting.
