The Villa, which is set in its own grounds, exceeded nearly all of our requirements. From the moment the wonderful Stelios let us in we had the best of times. Each and every morning Stelios delivered breakfast (fresh bread, fruit, jam, butter, honey, Greek yoghurt, har boiled eggs, fruit juice..). We alternated between the pool and the beach. Initially we used the beach in Plakias but later switched to the nearest beach (800m) in Damnoni. There is a good choice of eateries in Plakias with Stelios’s brother running the closest beach bar.

We had a really nice + relaxing time in Mythos Villas no 3. The apartment is nice, bright, spacious, clean, well equipped and has a big furnished terrace (outdoor furniture, sunbeds, umbrella). It is located in a quiet area in walking distance to Damnoni beach (with 2 tavernas) and to the even more beautiful Ammoydaki beach. Also the host (Eva) is really nice! The private pool is clean and big enough to swim a little. In order to see more from the island you need a car. We definitely would like to come back. Sigrid & Thomas

The location is excellent, the staff is super friendly specially the owners are very kind and accommodating. We even had diner at their restaurant Mythos next to the hotel/apartment and the food was excellent. Highly recommended , this was excellent experience considering I was raised in Greece and I know the culture very well to have a good judgment but I do live in NYC for the last 17 years and this was our first time in Crete! The house was excellent. Very big enough to accommodate even 12 persons with cheep price. The view from the balcony and the windows is amazing. Full facilities in the kitchen and the bath. There are three beaches near (Schoinaria, Damnoni and Ammoudi )about 10-20 min away and the big city of Plakias in 10 min. But most of all, the owners of the house are very kind and human.

We got a room with a beautiful view to Damnoni. The room was simply yet well equipped, it had a properly sized balcony, the bed was comfortable. It was close to several beatiful beaches and it was a breeze to walk at night (around 10 minutes) to the Damnoni beach to have dinner. Very good value for money.

The hotel and the beach, the people, all exceeded our expectations and were a highlight of our trip. The room and the beach were in reality much nicer than on pictures. The owners were very nice and hospitable. This is a hidden gem that I can heartily recommend.

Great location and wonderful staff. The hotel is located inside a beautiful garden full of trees where you can relax, work or have a nice conversations with friends. The staff had been very kind and helpful on providing everything I needed.

Location was great. Beach tavernas all excellent. Plakia just a 6 euro taxi ride if you want more nightlife. Really good beaches, several other coves in easy walking distance from Damnoni.

We liked the location. The staff who took our luggage back and from the room was very friendly, they were the only friendly people we met at this hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect position, very close to the beach and surrounded by nature. Simple, but clean and uncomplicated. To recommend.
