Situated in Elefsina, Melissa II Hotel features arches and paintings in its interior. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. It was a great middle stop to the airport for us. We drove up from Southern Greece, spent a night in Elefsina to visit relatives and then we were off to the airport the next day. It was perfect. I Also loved the eateries and the ancient artifacts that were walking distance away.
Glaros provides air-conditioned rooms in Skaramangás. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. IT was what We wanted. We came in the night and continued to the Corint. very friendly staff on reception.
Situated in Athens, within 32 km of Temple of Hephaestus and 33 km of Gazi - Technopoli, sea view countryside home near Athens offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, free bikes and a... AMAZING PLACE !!! Superbly equipped and I would easily stay there again.
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Irene Villa is set in Néa Péramos. This villa offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Highly recommend this property! The owners are such nice persons, they do everything to make your stay so comfortable. The villa was very clean, with everything you need for cooking, as we had a baby and a toddler. The beach is so close, the restaurant with great food and nice people. We enjoyed so much our holiday at the villa. Surely will be our first option when we'll be back in Greece! Thank you Stelios!
The main thing to see is the Eleusis site and museum, though the town has a few other small historical sites to see. While it is directly on the water, there's only a tiny rock beach at the harbour area and it did not look very inviting. There's a strip of restaurants and cafes and we found a very good seafood restaurant on a small side street. The town is a real town, not just tourists, and it felt very safe, even after dark.
Elefsina is a working, industrial port. It is Not a a seaside hoiday resort. Right outside the town are ship yards, heavy engineering, cement factory, and oil storage tanks, with a refinery. Considering it a quite a large town, there are hardly any taverna type restaurants here, and just as few bars. Check the town out on Google Earth and you will see what I mean. The bay is a parking place for cargo ships, rather than yachts. There is an interesting historical site though.
Apart from the site of ancient Eleusis, there's not much here for the tourist. The site, though, was well worth a visit. It's also conveniently close to Athens airport and a useful stopover point.
We used the hotel as an overnight stay before our return home - it is relatively close to the airport but and if very nice if a little bit pricey. We didn't eat at the hotel as we found a very nice souvlaki taverna just a short walk away.

This was more a business hotel than a leisure hotel but the rooms were big and clean, nice swimming pool area, large breakfast and a very nice roof top terrace
