We had a beuatfiul room with exceptional housekeeping by Marisida, who went out of her way to make our stay very comfortable. The private pool was wonderful and overall the whole resort is modern, super clean and well maintained. We had the half board package and the food was generous - not gourmet food, more relaxed , home style cooking which suited us fine. We found the restaurant staff to be really nice and we made friends with so many lovely young people, including Alexandra, Rusty, Adam, George and Nicholas - when we left we truly felt like we had made new friends and we are over 60 years old! The ladies at reception were also stunning Sophia and Nicky! The hotel is in a lovely position - near some awesome beach bars and a nice promenade to walk along. The massages at the spa were also great.

All facilities of the hotel are modern and well maintained. The hotel is located just next to the beach, we saw sea from our ground level room and were on the beach in 15 seconds. The hotel itself remained relatively quite, no noisy neighbours in direct vicinity, hence a good place to rest (but then we were there over Easter, not sure how it is during the high season). Breakfast had ample variety. We also tried all 5 restaurants for dinner and the food was great, with dishes typically on bigger size (starter+main+dessert hence typically was too much). The 5 restaurants are actually 5 different open kitchens in the same building. Staff was helpful and forthcoming, ladies serving breakfast were particularly great. Overall, great experience, we would return.

The hotel is pleasant, and every member of the staff we met was kind and offered help, the room is spacious, clean and fun to stay in. The food in the hotel is amazing, there are many options for vegetarians and healthy food. The water park is great, the kids really liked being there, the food at the buffet is very tasty and varied. The children loved being in the kids club and the staff of the club was caring and full of joy.

Lovely place..the location is quiet if you want a relaxing vacation,this is the Perfect one,We love that the hotel provides various activities and programs both day and night for the guests.Hubby and i enjoyed specially the night with the live band HEADLONG whch we only heard for five minutes because we came late from the Tour.The variety of food they prepare (if given a chance choose their all inclusive offer) their service never stops..Restaurant is always clean You see the hardworking curly boy bringing out fresh And hot plates and utensils..The employees inside the restaurant never leave any empty plate on the table so It always look tidy and clean..The Guys from the Bar they never rest.. Excellent Customer Service from the staffs they go extra Mile.. when i say extra mile i mean it, the moment i stepped in the Hotel smile from the frontdesks will welcome you.. Kudos to Christina nd katerina.. Christina helped us from the beginning till end providing all extra info we may need, Helped us book the tour and make the best decision since we only have limited time of stay( we tried asking for extension from the beginning but they wer fullybooked😪 so we have to mke the best out of what we have.The room we booked without us realizing is flexible ive never heard bout it but yeah sounds disappointing right but NO..WeLOVED IT.. the new room they provided the next day is even more welcoming with A bottle of Wine awaiting🤩🥰.. Twas our last night so i took my bottle of wine Home and will never open for that bottle of Wine for that will always remind me of the Best Experience I had with CRETE...specially its PEOPLE... Would like to thank once again every single Employees of Gouves Bay Hotel to those we see in front and to those who are at the back of the scene,everybody had their own part to take. KUDOS everyOne!!
