We loved our stay. There was inside storage space for our tandem bike. Our room was upgraded at no extra charge. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed with quality pots and pans. The view was excellent and there was a patio. We were even able to do laundry.

We were lucky enough to book this place just a week before our trip to Kefalonia, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The studio is remarkably spacious, stylish, peaceful, and filled with brand new appliances. Having easy, dedicated parking right there was also a huge bonus for us. Having traveled to Greece for 7 years and stayed across Lefkada, Zakynthos, and Kefalonia, this was hands down the best accommodation we’ve ever had, ​we have stayed in many places where prices were high but quality fell short. Here, the price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable. For us, a clean bathroom is almost the most important thing when traveling, and this one exceeded all our expectations! The kitchen is fully equipped (including a clever hidden fridge), and thoughtful details made a huge difference: a vanity table, an iron, a spacious wardrobe, and a proper, full-sized hairdryer—women with long hair will completely understand what a game-changer this is! ​Location-wise, it’s about a 30-minute drive to Myrtos Beach. The village itself has two restaurants; we tried the one nearest to the apartment, and the food was absolutely delicious. ​A note to future guests: Reviews are meant to guide us, and my advice is simple: if you stay here, please take care of it as if it were your own home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ionian Blue House with our little dog. The peace and quiet we experienced while drinking our morning coffee on the terrace was simply priceless. So was the strategic location near our 3 favorite beaches. Just a 10min drive away lies the jewel of Kefalonia, Myrtos Beach. Agia Kyriaki Beach is another 12min away. On the other side, it’s a 20min drive to Karavomilos Beach and the Melissani Cave. The villa is clean, has excellent Wi-Fi, air conditioning, washing mashine, mosquito nets, parking space and more spacious than one might think, with 3 bedrooms, a large terrace, 2 toilets, and a shower. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything what´s needed, and if we were missing anything, the host’s father—the ever so lovely Mr. Panagiotis—was immediately on hand to accommodate us. Although there’s a road in front of the house, it’s very quiet because the main connecting road runs through the valley below. Even the 35-minute distance to Argostoli didn’t bother us, since we found very good family-run restaurants in the surrounding villages whenever we were too tired to drive for long. Perhaps a dishwasher would be the only thing that could be improved next year. But honestly, even that pales in comparison to the fact that we were blown away by how welcoming and considered Babis and Mr. Panagiotis with his sweet smile were. Thank you so much to you both! You are a 20/10. We will be back ;)

Amazing place. Very roomy and clean with a beautiful yard and friendly kitties. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our car rental company cancelled on us, and everything was closed. She went above and beyond, offering her own car for our use. We politely declined and then she spent hours finding us a rental company with availability.
