We loved our stay at the villas! They're really unique and spacious, it feels like you're staying in a lighthouse or something. The private terrace was so relaxing with the view and sea breeze, and there was hardly anyone else there so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Evgenia who went out of her way to make our stay special. You can also pay extra to have a customised breakfast basket delivered to your room, totally worth it for a little picnic moment!

The property is located in Chora at the top of the center. It’s just a 1 minute walk down to the center of the city, which has a lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It’s also just where the stairs to the church starts (which I highly recommend climbing to see the sunset). The room was equipped with everything we needed and we especially appreciated the two balconies, allowing us the opportunity to sit both in the sun or in the shade. The pool area was very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The quiet location, just a few minutes walk from Chora old town was perfect. The amazing view looks out over fields toward the Church of the Panagia on the hill above town. Lucia and Edwin took terrific care of us, from picking us up at the ferry to providing incredible fresh-made breakfasts each morning. The property has been comfortably and beautifully restored with quality materials and furnishings to maintain the historic feel.

What Guests Said About Karavostasi:

We enjoyed staying at the port.

We enjoyed staying at the port. It is quieter than the Hora (particularly in the evening) but there is a great choice of beautiful, low key family tavernas which gave us some of the best dining experiences of our trip and a great swimming beach. You can also easily walk to Pountia beach and some of the swimming bays between the port and Pountia. The bus service to the Hora runs hourly so you can easily access the restaurants and attractions of the Hora. We loved staying at ANEMI and would stay at Karavostasis for that alone.

The island is beautiful, rugged scenery, dramatic cliffs, gorgeous beaches. The port is quiet with a few casual restaurants. The town of Chora is small and very quaint and it is 4 mins by bus from the port. The church on the hill is worth visiting to see the sunset. Highly recommend the island of Folegandros, away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more popular Greek islands.

Yes it is the beach at this very small port, but is simply lovely, trees for shade, a pebble beach but after a half meter in the water, the rest is sand. Lovely small cove with 3 on beach restaurants. Beach is suitable for your children, off the beach some really good restaurants and accommodation. Great place to be including as a base to explore the rest of this lovely island and be within minutes to the ferrry for onwards journey.

An absolutely awesome place for relaxing and winding down. The locals are so friendly and welcoming. We had a fabulous host at our accommodation and I’m so pleased we chose the AMOSuites. We had everything on our doorstep and yet it was a peaceful break. Amazing

The most beautiful place on the island if you prefer to stay in a calmer place with a few but super tasty and traditional restaurants giving you the real feeling of Greek. You can reach any part of the island easily by scooter, quad or with the local bus. A small, but very open-minded and friendly community that lives and welcomes you on the island.

Although we spent only three days on Folegandros (the vacation is not endless and the ferry timetables did not favor us either), we left with the decision to return here. The atmosphere of Chora is breathtaking in the evening, the approach to the landmark - the church of Agia Panagia is much easier than it seems at first glance, the walk around the beaches from Agkali to Agios Nikolaus Beach with swimming was also full of experiences, including culinary ones.

Had a lovely experience at the Anemi Hotel in Folegandros. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location is stunning with the infinity pool overlooking the bay on one side and hills on the other. It is located very close to the port but to get to town or any of the beaches a car needs to be taken.

Folegandros is the perfect island for those who love the Cyclades and Amo Suite is in the splendid bay of Karavostasis. The sea below, the taverns within ten steps, you can take a car or the bus stop is just outside the house! The host Yanni makes you feel like one of the family, always making sure you are happy staying there. There is nothing better!

Fabulous, quiet and elegant hotel. Beautifully designed with gorgeous views of the bay. Minutes from the beach and easy walk to bars and tavernas. The staff, particularly the receptionist Maria, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Very nice, clean and comfortable villa with beautiful sea view and tiny but cute swimming pool and spacious kitchenette, however in my opinion the price does not reflect the quality in comparison to other Cycladic (and even Folegandros) villas/boutique hotels I have been to.
