We chose this location for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing and unforgettable stay we could ever imagine. In general, the MK Hotel Collection staff are friendly, knowledgable and always ready to help - one could not go wrong by reserving a stay in either of their hotels. However, my review is for the Pnoé Hotel, as we received a very generous upgrade after reserving a room at the Unique Blue. Firstly, the whole resort is magical. The interior, the attention to detail, the whole vibe and especially the choice of music provide for a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. Add to that the extremely friendly staff and you get a dream vacation. During our two weeks, Rofe, Manolis, Melpomeni and Artemis made our stay uniquely memorable and we thank them for their kindness. The food and drinks were also amazing and some days we felt like we were just transferring from breakfast to the beach bar cocktails, back to lunch - what a way to vacation, truly. During our stay, we experienced a not insignificant earthquake and a cloud of Saharan dust and let me tell you I have never been so unbothered - the vibes were immaculate regardless. And lastly, the rooms: the well-thought-out storage, the elegant colour palette, the comfortable bed, the pillow menu and the private pool - truly an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail, the random acts of thoughtfulness and the dedication to making the guests feel special are unmatched. We are sure to return for another special occasion.

Everything was great. I can recommend this place to everyone, because you have everything, what you need, on place or near by. The airport is possible to reach even by walk :-) but I don"t recommend to walk from the airport with your baggage, the walkways along the streets are narrow and full of obstructions (but without heavy baggage possible). Easily you can go by bus, from and to the airport you need to use 2 different bus lines each way, but the way by buses is very easy, fast and the bus stop is very close to the apartments. You really do not need an expensive taxi. My apartment had a balcony, a small kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom and a small "living room" equipped with a table for eating. Internet connection was excellent and fast (I was able to upload easily my pictures and videos each day to my home NAS drive). The kitchen was equipped with basic things, I could prepare my "not-demanding" food with no problem, there is no microwave oven, but there is induction cooker and some pots, so it was enough for me. The supermarket is in the village, max. 5 minutes walk. There are several smaller minimarkets even closer. You can buy everything what you need there. There are some tavernas and coffee bars in the village as well, but I did not use them (so you must not cook if you want, everything is up to your needs and wishes). The room itself was very clean, they took away the garbage and changed the towels regulary. The bed was comfortable - I sleep well anywhere so for me it is not important if it is more soft or more hard, it was something in the middle, but the most important is - it was clean. The bathroom was perfect, the shower worked well. The swimming pool is great, with warm water, crystal clear and clean. It was really very nice and I liked it. You can buy some drinks by the pool bar. The staff is very kind and friendly. The beach is great and big, 10 minutes by walk, not overcrowded, with buffet, bars, toilettes, showers.

Karteros is a convenient location, especially because it’s close to the airport. The beach has some organized areas with sunbeds, but it gets very busy during the summer peak season, particularly on Sundays when many locals also head to the beaches. The sunbeds tend to get taken quickly, so if you miss out, you can still relax on the sand—but bringing your own umbrella is a good idea for some shade.

We were initially reluctant about the close distance between the airport and the hotel (due to the low planes) but not only were the planes quite a joy to see but it also gave us more time on our holiday and less time faffing about with transfers. The hotel itself was beautiful and all facilities were immaculate and well thought through. The choice of food and drink throughout our stay was wonderful and varied from one meal/day to the next. The staff were all highly professional, friendly and accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for more other than an extra week! We would highly recommend and would love to come again!

Close distance to airport,minimarkets and beach,everything you need is clos by. WiFi works literally everywhere even outside by the swimming pool. Stuff very friendly even if you ask silly questions, they are always ready to help! Short distance to Heraklion (you can buy bus tickets for 1,60€ from minimarket next door and bus stop is just 100m from the hotel) from where you can take bus to see Knossos for example,it's 15€ for entry), also when you get off the bus in Heraklion their national museum is right in front of the bus station (12€ entry)

So the rooms are small, but they're cozy.

So the rooms are small, but they're cozy. You only need the room to sleep in, and it functions just fine for that. They have a pool, laundry facilities, breakfast, and a balcony to enjoy that beautiful sea breeze. It is located directly across the street from the beach and centrally to multiple mini markets and restaurants. Close to the freeway and airport. And staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!!!!

No air conditioned in bedrooms ! Only in living room ! We had to live without sleeping because of the terribile hot. When we asked for our money back, they answered that it was'nt specified that AC was in every rooms but is clear that if the house has 3 floors you can not write that there is AC if only one room has it! We wasted money and time

Really little city, you can find food, and markets, go to the beach and that really is all. Would recommend going to Heraklion nearby and the whole island for a week stay. (Didn't try the Minoan Experience tho)

Great hotel for relaxation. - Size of private pools. - Hotel design features including landscaping are beautifully presented. - Good food selection for a 5-night stay. - Stunning sunsets! - Staff are all brilliant, we couldn't name everyone but wanted to mention ioanna, she is a ray of sunshine during breakfast service! - Great cocktails and wine list. - Very nice personal touches from the hotel, from arrivals through to departure. - Very efficient Concierge service through WhatsApp. - Nice Spa.

Great location, right by the bus stop and a 10 minutes walk to Karteros Beach! Also super convenient to/from the airport. We landed at Heraklion late and were able to check-in very easily. The hosts were super helpful and kind - classic Greek hospitality! The apartment is fully equipped, spacious and clean. Would definitely book again!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Crete. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with beautiful views. The food was fresh and very tasty, with lots of local options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the island – we would love to come back!

Exactly as expected : clean, with sea view, and close to bus stations. The staff was super helpful, spoke great English, and was proactive helping us find our way in Karteros and to Heraklion. Just a 15 min bus ride away from the City center, and close to the airport which made it convenient to go by taxi.
