Beautiful hotel. The facilities were clean and very modern. The location is practically right by the main village area. The staff was extremely friendly - the lady at the front desk asked me if I was climbing Mount Olympus and when she found out, she went to the breakfast area and fixed me up a bag to-go and two bottles of water. I stayed in 7 hotels over the course of my trip and this was hands down the best hotel I stayed at.

A fabulous hotel; clean & spacious rooms with comfortable bed, partial mountain view from the balcony, plenty of hot water in the shower, fully stocked minibar, fluffy towels, & surprisingly quiet even though located in the middle of town, that was great due to the short walking distance to everything you need, groceries, restaurants, bank, ATMs, taxi stand, souvenir shops, etc. The breakfast offered plenty of healthy options, but start time is too late for us early risers there to hike. I hesitated to ask for a take away, but did inform the charming owner operator of an early hiking departure multiple times, & once online at the time of booking. He did leave 2 oranges in the lobby for me at my request. The parking is in an open public lot free of charge, & just a short walk from the hotel. It was crowded on the weekend, but I always found a space. Overall, a great choice at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here when staring our hiking tip around Olympus! Check in and out was very simple. The host was very responsive to my messages. The place is exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner. The location was great for accessing the hiking trails and was very peaceful and quiet!

Litochoro is a fantastic place that combines the mountains and the seaside in the best way. It is located at 300 meters above sea level with fresh air and only 15 minutes from the sea. It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites. The peaceful setting, combined with natural beauty and culture, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration.

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a...

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a mountain one, but Litochoro offers exactly that - in 15-30 minutes by car you can be either in the heart of Olympus or on a sandy beach that looks out a travel brochure. If you head to the beach, we recommend the one between Paralia and Olympiaki Akti a little up north along the coast - there is golden sand, no rocks at all, and no crowds. If you head to the mountain, take the road to Prionia and make sure you stop at the Monastery of Saint Dionysios and Stavros Refuge along the way - the views are truly breathtaking all throughout the trip In the city center, check out the maritime museum, the park, and the restaurants and bakeries along the park. The old church is pretty impressive as well. All in all, a great destination, not just in the summer!

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus.

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus. Lovely place, close to Enipeas gorge, and it´s fantastic waterfalls and lagoons. On one side, few kms from the ocean, on the other side the mountains stand tall. So it´s a perfect place to start the hike to the Olympus, or just go to the beach. It is also the finish line of the Olympus Marathon, and I can only recommend. Nice cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, and the views are gorgeous.

Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains and the sea. We have already spent the night in Litochoro twice on our way to the Peloponnese and Skiathos, but we decided to spend our summer here next year. The nightlife and entertainment is excellent, there are many bars and restaurants, especially when you go down the beautiful promenade to the river. In the town itself, we liked eating the most at the Meze-Meze restaurant with excellent food.

The whole selling point of the town is Mount Olympus yet their blue ribband walk to Prionia is closed as five bridges are down. It is a national park and a unesco biosphere and yet the locals do not give a damn!

The location was superb, close to the square and community facilities. The views from around the hotel were exceptional. The ladies at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. They directed us to 55 peaks shop as we had left our map abd guide book at hone. This enabled us to walk in the Enipea Gorge and walk up to the refuge of Mt Olympus safely using the local knowledge.perfect stay. We loved the village of Litochoro very much.

Big and cosy apartment, completely new. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with new and functional equipment. Very rare for Greece - running water in the apartment comes from Olimpus springs, and you can drink it! Nearby Beach is peaceful and beautiful, just 3-5min of walking distance. No loud music, caffes etc. Ideal place for holiday for families with children.

Mythic Vally is a pearl in Litochoro! The place is beautiful and comfortable and serves a delicious breakfast. Stella, who is in the reception most of the time, is so welcoming - she took care of every need we had and honestly turned our time in the hotel into a much better experience.
