High in the hills of Drama, Greece, the Petrini Gonia Hotel offers a serene escape. While a scenic drive is required to reach its elevated location, the journey is well worth it. During our two-night stay with my family on August 18th and 19th, we were captivated by the stunning morning views of the surrounding mountains, often shrouded in beautiful summer fog. The warm hospitality of the owners made our visit even more special, highlighted by excellent breakfasts with a wide variety of delicious options. Every moment of our stay was truly exceptional, from the breathtaking scenery to the wonderful food.

Due to unexpected last moment circumstances, the host couldn't host us, so he booked us to a fantastic apartment without asking for extra. We appreciate his kindness and honesty. Hopefully we'll have the chance to return to his place in the future.
