A super unique place across Greece, combining high altitude vegetation with long pebble beaches overlooking the Aegean Sea. Under the feet of Olympus & super close to the Heritage Village of Palaios Panteleimon. Platamonas is a great place to combine relaxing beach holidays coupled with sight seeing exploration and mountain strolls under Olympus mountain. I would definitely recommend Platamonas.
I would definitely recommend Platamonas. Not for the beach though. We were with young kids, so we chose to drive for a couple of minutes to Nei Pori to go to the beach, and came back to Platamonas for lunch and dinner. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk distance from the beach and close to local restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the fresh breakfast each morning.
