Sami was a great place to stay! We had 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there feeling. The terrain is wonderful. Sami beach was wonderful the restaurant on Sami beach was wonderful. The acropolis of Sami was a highlight of our three week trip. The Contessa restaurant in Sami was great. And everyday we traveled to a different part of the island. Quiet location about 10 mins walk from Sami’s main harbour strip of bars and restaurants. Several supermarkets nearby as well as the excellent Sami archaeological museum. Good location to tour the island. Lovely, friendly, attentive hosts who met us with the hire car at the port on arrival so we could make the most of our day before we could get into the property.
