Tastefully remodeled, located on one of the squares in the heart of Volissos, close to the market, tavernas, bar & cafe. The host was helpful, & we were met on arrival. The pool, wine & Aravita bath products were all appreciated bonuses. A great base for exploring the amazing west coast beaches of Chios!

Very nicely decorated elegant room. 1 min walking to a very nice beach on a naturally protected bay, sea is amazing. Modern tv, espresso machine and other utilities were so nice. Housekeeper Vicky wad lovely, she was there whenever needed.

In contrast to the gentle landscape and somewhat developed...

In contrast to the gentle landscape and somewhat developed tourist areas on the southern end of Chios, this is a rough and tumble frontier, and all the more fascinating for it. Towns with only a few inhabitants, trails on which we never saw a soul. In October, attractive beaches with no one else around. Few dining choices. And-- after leaving the town of Chios, we didn't see a single gas station for our ten-day vacation. Beware!

Picturesque medieval village, close to excellent beaches,...

Picturesque medieval village, close to excellent beaches, bars and a very good fish restaurant. The monastry of Ag. Markella (the patron saint of the area) is 7 KM boasting breathtaking views of the Western side of Chios.
