    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town.

    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

    Very nice, modern apartment, with partial view on Balaton lake, decorated with taste, ideal for a family with children. The apartment complex offers also swimming pool (open from 9am to 6pm) and a tasteful inner yard. We also had our dedicated parking place outside. The apartment is well equipped and a public beach is literally 1 min walk. The check in / out was smooth and welcoming despite our late arrival. We would have liked to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy the experience.

    We like our vacation, the apartment has everything we need, we also got a little pleasant surprise that we loved. I would definitely stay here again if I would come to Lake Balaton Comfortable, Clean and nice staff and beautiful place nearby (Balaton in spring is a miracle) We can put our bikes in a safe place. We highly recommend it.

    Quiet holidaymakers' area, close to the local shop and to some restaurants as well as the main attraction - lake Balaton. Cosy summerhouse with all the amenities necessary (fully equipped kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom, well working air-conditioning). Overall nice for those nostalgically recalling 1970s Hungarian reality

    A quiet location, a well furnished room and clean, large bathroom, to the highway not far to the Balaton beach. A very good tasty breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. We recomand Juhasz Fogado.

    The location is simply great. It is in Fonyódliget, a rather quiet part of Balaton on the southern side (the better side!). It has private access to the lake with a spacious garden. Staff is nice.
