He welcomes his visitors with a shot of traditional Hungarian Schnaps, he is talkative and makes jokes continously. The place is 10 minutes walking from Szentgotthard's main square in a quiet neighborhood, a separate room for our a bikes (a barn) was provided. Shower pressure is excellent, WIFI fast and reliable und breakfast is sumptous. Host speaks German, don't know about his English skills as most guests are obviously from Hungary or Austria. I then returned in 2019 and then again in 2022 and now July 2024. I would highly recommend Gotthard hotel I would like to thank Fábián Fanni who has arranged my taxis to see my father you all have gone above and beyond to make my stay an absolute joy.
