From the moment I arrived to the fabulous open breezy reception area and welcome, to the time I left with help and care from staff as I did, I loved it and it exceeded my expectations. As a non sunbather there were equally as many fabulous spaces to sit, read and enjoy the fabulous view which I really appreciated. Loved the music on some of the evenings (saxophone by the jungle and an acoustic evening) which added to the atmosphere and experience. Right on the road and through rice fields to the ridge walk so a lovely 15/20 minute walk into centre which I loved. The food and drinks were fabulous and staff exceptional. I felt seen and cared for throughout. I didn’t want to leave ❤️

- Reception ( Bella and Ayu ) were more than perfect for welcoming us at Merak village , smiley , polite, and they were explaining for us everything at the hotel and were ready to answer any question and ready to help. - Room was just amazing , they clean 2 times, and has a nice view and the sound of the river let you really feel in the heaven. - Housekeeping, ( Dewa, wili & Adi ) were ready to assist us and always they keep our room clean. - Restaurant, All staffs were smiley and they great us warmly every morning when we come to our breakfast. And have nice hospitality. - Over all the Merak Village for sure on our list for our next coming to Ubud and I highly recommend it. - Finally, thanks for every one there for an amazing hospitality that let us feel at our second home. Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel! Friendly staff, serene atmosphere, great pool (with perfect temperature, also for kids). The breakfast was also very nice, with sufficient variety for our 5-day stay, including fresh juices. It's further away from the crowds, but still walking distance to the centre.
