Super friendly welcome, Marie (owner) is super nice. Very friendly and the cook is so good. Very good food and the red snapper is excellent. Juices and drinks are really good! Excellent coffee. Beautiful sunrise view.

Absolutely amazing experience! We had the most unforgettable honeymoon at Blue Mathis! I went there with my wife, and honestly, we couldn't have found a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. The experience was absolutely amazing—far beyond what we expected. The level of professionalism and kindness from the staff was exceptional. We stayed for 6 days in a beautiful room/villa with a private pool. Although the island is quite isolated, the resort truly has everything you could possibly need—whether it's relaxing by the pool, enjoying delicious food, or exploring through the various activities and tours they offer. From the service to the facilities and cuisine, everything was perfect. We would absolutely recommend Blue Mathis!

Sophia and her family are the best and take such great care of the place and anyone who visits. Right on the beach with amazing breakfast every morning. Cute kittens were lounging about and the cows were meandering down the path in the morning. She even supplied me with an extra fan since I said I am a hot sleeper. 10/10 5 stars will stay again. The hammock on the porch was a great touch too! I had gotta a brutal sunburn and she brought me aloe vera from her home as its hard to find on the island. Her and her husband gave me a ride back to mataram for a great price too.

We stayed for a week and honestly, it was amazing. If you’re looking for a place to relax, watch beautiful sunsets, connect with marine nature, and enjoy a spacious beachfront villa ¡ this is the place for you! The Wi-Fi is good. They provide a small kayak to explore the nearby islands. The beach is full of incredible seashells. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are corals right in front of the hotel (bring your own snorkel gear). If we ever come back to Gede, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

STAFF- AMAZING; Amir 'Jo', Kabir, 'Tony- EPIC. I genuinely think without the staff here the overall booking.com score would be much lower [in 8s] FOOD- kitchen did an incredible job, if you want a proper Lombok curry; and ask for it; youll get it. No tourist spice here if you want traditional indo cooking you will get it. HEAVEN. Pool- beachfront and our room, clean crystal clear and NOT over chlorinated. Brilliant. For divers- the G.A dive crew [Oceanway] actually pick you up direct in the morning from Amahelia with no extra charge. Absolutely great spot for divers on a bigger budget. Main pool area had enough loungers for all guests.
