Ayin finally confirmed my request for twin bed and king to be close each others and she arranged a connecting room, as I booked a month earlier, at beginning she explained it is based on available upon arrival, however I gave her overview, how can guest enjoy an Accor experience prior to their stay,if you are unable to fulfill guest request ahead. Reservation should aware to secure earlier when booking received and front office will make sure their arrival request and room allocation check list 7-3-1 days before. I am traveling since 10 June with my family from Jogja, Dieng, Solo, Semarang and Malang, before heading back home to Bali and ensure we enjoy the last trip ended at Ibis Malang. We got clean room, comfy bed and good view 10th floor. Well done!

I absolutely loved my 3 night stay at the Hotel Santika and I only wish that I had stayed longer. The staff was one of the most caring and helpful of my 2 1/2 week trip through Indonesia. I especially enjoyed the decors with the fountain in the pool. The bar opens onto the pool area and is very pleasant. They serve an excellent buffet breakfast each morning with a lot of variety. I liked my room and had room service there one evening when I was tired. There are various convenience stores and a pharmacy near. I want to thank the professional staff for always treating me so well, especially when I had a medical issue.

We came to Malang, to show my grandson where my father was...

We came to Malang, to show my grandson where my father was taken prisoner of war in March 1942. We also came here to get to the top of the Bromo volcano and watch the sunrise from the edge of the crater. For the rest there is not much to see in Malang, except for the country side. We have been shopping for two flashlights to use during our climb to the top of the Bromo volcano during the night and we were pleasantly surprised to find a super modern shopping mall with shops representing all the world known brand names. Forgot the name of this shopping mall.

Malang is unknown and unexplored, yet it is a great town for...

Malang is unknown and unexplored, yet it is a great town for a quiet get away. There are many good restaurants, a few markets to explore a few ancient temples to visit, never mind the many hikes. There is Mount Bromo and then there is Batu. For me I prefer the quiet short walks and a swim in the pool. Tourism here is geared to the local tourist and foreigners are rare.

Malang was definitely an amazing experience. we walked downtown and visited the heritage village, what an amazing place!! we also went to this beautiful restaurant called ( SaigonSan ) which looks like a temple form the inside . the food is really good and unexpectedly affordable. and of course would recommend the Bromo, Ejin and Tumpak sewu tours . otally worth it especially the waterfalls

Malang us a small city with a pleasant climate. Recently improved the city facilitys. Kajoe Tanggung is an area with a lot of cafes and eaterys. Very nice environment at night. For trips there are a few daytrips, which involves a lot of travel time.

Travelled for work, have had many trips for 3-6 weeks in Malang this year. It is a lively city, very busy and densely packed. There are some good bars and restaurants for westerners to visit, it's worth asking around as places close and new ones open up so online guides aren't always accurate. Climate is always warm, either warm and dry, or warm and rainy! People are very friendly, and the cost of living is very cheap compared to western prices. Local food is good, can be quite spicy as they do like chillies.

Nice places to visit, but lack of infrastructure. Mount Bromo, one of the best attractions is only reached by Jeeps, in fact, very old cars, no seat belt, no comfort at all, if you are more than 1.8 m tall, as me, you will be no room for your legs, and have to stary more than 5 hours like a sardine in a can. Too bad, the volcanos are wonderful and the beauty of the area breath taking.

The rooftop bar & restaurant is so relaxing after being out touring the beautiful Malang attractions . The pool is large & clean & the breakfast would have to be the best in java .Jacob the manager runs a smart hotel with all the staff so friendly. We will be back
