A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!
