Tetebatu Sama Sama Bungalows is located behind Jeruk Manis Waterfall in the rice fields on the south slope of Mount Rinjani National Park. One of the best places I ever stayed in in 10 years of travelling. The bungalows are really nice and the setting in the countryside is beautiful overlooking the jungle and ricefields. But the best was the staff; super friendly and welcoming, always helping you and wanting to introduce you to Lombok culture. Tetebatu is almost devoid of tourists and there are so many things to see and do: trekking, waterfalls, lake, jungle; with mt Rinjani on the background. I ended up staying up staying 9 days here. Really recommended.
Located 1.7 miles from Tetebatu Monkey Forest, Dream Catcher Camp provides accommodations with Restaurant, a garden and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. The sense of community as soon as you arrive. Amazing place. Booked three night, ended up staying for one week. The Mt. Rinjani trek was incredible!
Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Green Haven Homestay is located in Tetebatu, nestled in the ricefields in the Lombok Region, 1.9 mi from Kotaraja. Our stay at the Green Haven is a good memory. It was so great. The staff is so friendly, the room very big and the location perfect to discover ad hike. We have one "local dinner" with the staff to try their food and have explaination about their culture. We made the two tour: one day hike in ricefield with monkey forest and waterfall; one day market and handicrafts village. The guide is very nice and the tour was good value. They came to pick up us at Senggigi harbour and drive us back to Kuta.
Les Rizieres Lombok offers accommodations in Tetebatu. The guest house has a terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Excellent staff and they helped arrange our transport to the hotel as well as a ride to the waterfalls and all the way to the bangsal ferry. Very friendly staff and are happy to help with any requests.
Located in Tetebatu, 1.8 miles from Tetebatu Monkey Forest and 3.6 miles from Kotaraja, Vanilla Cottage Tetebatu has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. Great location, the closest location to Black monkey forest and on the doorstep you got rice plantations and many many animals from the house, family is very friendly and Hirwone did for use few trips as a Guide to beach in special the secret island at the north east of Lombok that was amazing with snorkelling , 3 waterfalls and also they do to the volcano that it’s pretty close but we couldn’t go as per the young kids. We love to be in real contact with locals and they offer cooking clases in their authentic Lombok kitchen .
With Kotaraja reachable in 1.9 miles, Flush Harmony Villa provides accommodations, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is featured. Everything else other than those broken facilities in room 101 upstairs. The location is just magical! Love the view, the food, the staff.
Located 3.9 miles from Kotaraja, Ariel Bungalow Tetebatu offers a Restaurant, a garden and accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The host was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful. The food he and his wife prepared at any time for us was exceptional - one of the best we had in our time in Indonesia
A really nice town where you get to meet the locals and feel like a part of their community in a short time. We stayed at the Dream Catcher Camp, which was a great place with an incredible ambience. We loved to walk through the rice paddies and seek for waterfalls down the river. Really liked the short walk from Warung Monkey Forest (ask the owner where to go) down to the river, where there are some nice waterfalls to get yourself a great, natural shower.
When you need a place to aloof and to have your own solemnity, do consider Tetebatu as your choice. No crowd, no noisy, just you, the local people and their wisdom, and GOD. 😘😘😘😉😉😉
There's a hidden waterfall (no name, it's not Jeruk Manis), great for swimming, no tourists at all! Ask the owner of Pondok Indah Bungalow to take you there (or book your room and ask him to guide you) Cool climate with mild rain, perfect for weekend getaway. Very very friendly local.
If you want to get away from the tourist run of Kuta and the like, go to Tetebatu! I felt very connected to and welcomed by the locals, who took a lot of pride in introducing us to the area. I was also really touched and inspired by the resourcefulness and richness of their local farming and food production - so much grown in such a small area, and so little wasted.
It's green place where we can spend the holiday with peace, close to monkey forest and the main attraction's you can hike Mount Rinjani, and when we are lucky we can meet the rare Black Monkey,i've met 3 of them :)
If you want to learn more about the culture, this is the right place. The locals are very kind and not annoying (what you have in touristic parts). The view is beautiful. To bad I couldn't climb the volcano (wet season), but would love to do that next time! Also spotted some wild monkeys.

What an incredible stay at Mu's Homestay. Mu and his family are truly amazing. Outstanding hospitality. They made sure we were having a good time. We had the opportunity to sit down and have lively conversations while drinking local and traditionally made coffee. The tours with Mu is a must! You will go to secret waterfalls, drive through amazing rice fields, visit arts and craft villages, and much more. It was amazing to experience local culture with very kind people. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. It has a nice front terrace where you can chill out and have the delicious banana pancakes with fresh fruit for breakfast. The location is great. Very quiet and local feel. A charming restaurant around the corner is where we had most of our meals and was very good. Overall, please do yourself a favor and stay with this loving and kind family. Would highly recommend this place! Thank you Mu!

I really enjoyed how close we were to the mountain. We could easily walk up to the monkey forest within minutes. The staff was friendly and the food was really really good traditional food. There was unlimited tea or coffee as well as bananas. They were helpful with all the information needed for trekking, sights around the area and getting us a taxi when we left. He allowed us to connect to his hotspot for internet whenever we needed. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking to get your nature recharge!

We did something interesting every day.Walk through ricepaddies and trail. Saw the harvest near by. Overnight trekking was available to Rinjani Volcano Rim. Breakfast was ok. Staff would help you out. Just ask if there is any problem. The double bed in the Delux room was Huuuge ! and comfortable. Evening meal was adequate, but if you want delicious local feast check the price, it will be more, but yummmy!
