Located 2.3 miles from Tetebatu Monkey Forest, Satu Lingkung offers a restaurant, a garden and accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. There's a seating and/or dining area in some units. The property is well looked after and always clean. The owner (Aziz) and his colleagues have put in a lot of effort to create a wonderful place with exceptional attention to detail. It feels like a place for fairies! The view from the room is incredible and you can take a walking tour through the rice farms to waterfalls and a monkey forest. The food is fresh and mostly all the ingredients are literally from plant to plate. They will climb a tree to get you a coconut! So far, one of my favourite places in Lombok. Highly recommended.

Tetebatu Sama Sama Bungalows is located behind Jeruk Manis Waterfall in the rice fields on the south slope of Mount Rinjani National Park. Andy and the staff of Sama Sama are amazing. We had an amazing couple of days here. We booked two tour trips with them and they showed us the surroundings of Tetebatu, which are incredible, and the secret Gili islands, where we did snorkel and no people was around. I would truly recommend to stay here if you want to explore Tetebatu.

With river views, Vanilla Garden is located in Tetebatu and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. Extremely clean and comfortable. Views over the balcony are so nice! Food, drink, scooter hire and guided tours are all available on site, so it makes for an easy and pleasurable stay. You can take guides with you for a morning of exploration or the owner will draw you a map and you can DIY! Staff are friendly and helpful. They are lovely, good and honest people. I think it's the best place to stay in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!
Just relax with nice atmosphere. Beautiful nature all around. Locals still living their life uninterrupted by tourism. Simple life, reminded me of my childhood growing up in small town. Had mixed weather for 6 days with no abundance of sunlight. Sunbathing spots are often blocked by trees, so book a nice villa with pool, otherwise just enjoy nature!
There is a monkey forest where monkeys are still wild and won‘t climb your shoulders or sth like that. It wasn‘t touristic at all in the forest we were the only people with our local guide. There are amazing hidden waterfalls and rice terraces and it‘s perfectly quite, so you are away from the noice of the more touristic areas for a while. Locals are also very friendly
Wonderful!!!! We loved the accommodatiom and the owner and staff, so super nice and helpful! The cottages are comfortable and have amazing views over the jungle and volcano. Free breakfast was to die for. Would 100% come back!
We loved the local people and handicrafts. The hidden waterfall cave and paddy fields. The National Park has a range of fascinating plant varieties and spices and of course, the Ebony Leaf Monkey in its natural habitat.
They say ‘come as guest, leave as family’ that feeling is more then true!! We’ve had a wonderful stay an it actually was even too short!! Lunch and dinner are served in traditional ways and if you like spicy food, you can even try all their sambals! The bungalows are located about 200meters off the road, a steep walk down but easily to get there! There is much to see and the family is eager to show you around! Even the possibility to climb to the second summet of Mount Rinjani, though we didn’t do that. One thing to keep in mind, is that there are a lot of mosques around that start early in the morning. Some earplugs for a goodnight sleep are then a must, but the sounds of the the frogs and crickets make it up!!
You can see several waterfalls, traditional handcraft made of bamboo, handweaving, pottery, Meal is delicious in each warung. Especially juicy grilled carps. Air is dryer and fresh thanks to altitude around 600m, thus no need aircondition to survive the night.

There are not enough good things to say about our stay at Greenhaven! The property is lush with beautiful plants, the bungalow rustic yet cozy- hello hot water! And the food, made fresh when ordered, was always super tasty. Chung, Aman, and Muzie were very helpful, always answering our questions about the area and culture. Definitely recommend doing the tour, we certainly would not have made our way to all destinations so easily without a guide and Aman never rushed us and again, answered all of our many questions, in addition to educating us about the rice process. Another highlight was the family dinner, where you get to try all the different local dishes and eat with the hosts - they even made it vegan for us ;) we definitely felt like part of the family during our stay and would come again any time. And if you’re lucky you might experience some late night jam sessions!

Thomas and Katie were perfect hosts. They were very sociable and helpful when making recommendations. They would invite me to sit with them for dinner, which was a very nice gesture being a solo traveler. The guesthouse is charming and provided very modern and functional amenities. The views of the rice terraces in the morning were sublime.
