The b&b is very clean with a friendly host. Our room was very spacious with a lovely view on the surrounding lakes. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of items to choose from. Located 8 miles from Ballyhaise College and 8 miles from Hilton Park Victorian Gardens, Clonandra Cottages provides accommodations in Belturbet. We are just home from a 4 day "staycation" at clonandra cottages, and it was amazing!! Our group was 4 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 7 to 17. We fished swam played walked and thoroughly enjoyed every second of the beautiful scenic clonandra cottages. And our lovely neighbours were great company and lots of fun.we would highly recommend clonandra cottages and cannot wait to come back again. Thanks guys for an amazing long weekend
Set in Derrylin in the Fermanagh County region, Killynick Marina offers accommodations with free private parking. We had an amazing stay here. There was nothing at all we could fault. Colin the host was lovely and very helpful. We hired the fishing boat for the day and sailed up and down the rivers and lakes. Cannot wait to go back again. The pods themselves were spotless and cozy. There was great bbq facilities, although we brought our own also. Really enjoyable experience.
Located in Cloverhill in the Cavan County region, Cloverhill Gate Lodge features accommodations with free private parking. A gorgeous, comfortable cottage, well fitted out with everything you need. Warm and cosy even in winter. Owner was very welcoming, even provided delicious sandwiches on our arrival. Wish we had more time to explore the area.
Set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Dungimmon House in Ballyconnell is a purpose-built 4-star country home with well-appointed rooms and free Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas. This house was built as a B&B, so the rooms were perfectly set up, and we were able to get rooms next to each other, important when traveling with family. Th owner directed us to a great place for dinner, and breakfast the next morning was lovely. The grounds are beautiful, you can tell our hosts loved gardening!
With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 65-ft pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is surrounded by 300 acres of grounds. Really high end ! Loved the covid 19 room service ! Nice to have food come to room vs being collected ! Well done !
Annalee House B&B is located in Droichead an Bhuitléaraigh, 24 mi from Enniskillen. Free WiFi is available. Certain rooms feature views of the river or garden. The B&B is charming, the grounds are beautiful and Anna May is wonderful. She made our experience so much better. The house is situated next to a lovely river and across the bridge from a fantastic pub/restaurant. My whole family and some extended family stayed there and everyone raved about what a great setting it was.
Nice quiet town but enough for you to do if you are only staying a few days, lovely walks and a great playground for kids and castle Anderson is only up the road. People are nice and friendly and the food was lovely everywhere we went but Bedrock Cafe stands out as a place we would visit again, good proper food and decent portions 😊
We had an agenda for visiting Belturbet; which was visiting family there of Grandparents who had emigrated to New Zealand at the beginning of 20th century. Having said that the countryside and Loughs are very scenic. The town and surrounding areas are full of history. Plenty of fish in the loughs for course fishing. Ideal for boating.... and the people are so friendly in the Seven Horseshoes.
Belturbet is out of the regular tourist route, but we were looking up family roots in Caven. We were able to explore and totally enjoy an area that we now cherish. The GeoPark in Northern Ireland was very interesting and a beautiful spot. Maura and her Church View House was like being with family. She is very caring, a total delight!
Sad to see that some of the pubs and shops were closed, it happens everywhere but the people were all friendly and Beltburbert still retains its charm. The pub/restaurant just down the road was 5 star too, also the Ben's chinese nice (very quaint!)
