He was struggling to get everything ready due to the damage done by Storm Ellen earlier in the day on the day of our arrival, but still had time to make us feel welcome and we weren't waiting too long for our chalet to be ready. The scenery is beautiful and our host made us feel like he wanted us to have a great time while we were there.

Dirreen House is located in Athea. The property is 26 miles from Tralee and free private parking is provided. A fantastic bungalow. Very clean and spacious. It was very thoughtful of the owner to leave us enough food for morning breakfast. We also enjoyed the scones and freshly baked bread. The cost was worth every penny.
