A bit off the normal tourist path, but such a wonderful hidden gem. It's just off the main road, and has a wonderful view. We were blessed with excellent weather so spent most of it sat outside. Rooms were well appointed, kitchen had everything we'd need, and it's a perfect spot for a staycation. It's actually on a private road used by the fisheries nearby, so there isn't all that much activity. Really peaceful place in the middle of nature.

Portsalon was a great location for exploring the Wild...

Portsalon was a great location for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, full of history, structures and wild views. Weather can be unforgiving so bring waterproofs, but worth it for a beautiful, memorable holiday.

Sarah and Colin were excellent hosts, Room very cosy and...

Sarah and Colin were excellent hosts, Room very cosy and comfortable, great shower with lovely large fluffy towels, Hosts provided a very nice breakfast menu, cooked freshly by Colin in the kitchen. the informal chat at breakfast was very interesting. Very highly recommended property.
