We reached Nazareth by Egged bus from Jerusalem which worked great. Our apartment was located in a narrow street close to the market area and we were able to walk to all sights- a large benefit here. The main attractions of Nazareth can be discovered within a full day. There are plenty of restaurants and as the town is mostly arabic, you find closed shops only on sundays. We believe that most tourists come in groups with organised tours, for individual travellers its a bit harder to get around. We were surprised that there are basically zero rental car services, which we were hoping for. Most busses start from the central bus station but some dont- in that case, you will pay a lot to get a taxi that takes you to the desired bus stop if you are unable to walk there. The main roads are crowded with cars and there a only few proper sidewalks, which was disappointing. It can be very noisy in the evenings with cars and especially motorcycles that are showing off..
Nazareth should be a diamond on Israel's touristic map. Great potential. I enjoy staying and roaming the old city, but there's much to be done in the old, and the new city, to make it what it deserves to be.
When I learned that visiting the Sea of Galilee and its environs from Nazareth alone could only happen if I rented a car, which I didn't, or take a taxi, which I didn't because of their exorbitant rates, staying five days was two days too long, nevertheless I recommend the city.
The central locations for sightseeing are in a small area of the town, concentrated in the old city. It can be easily done on a day trip from other locations, but an overnight stay let's you wander around the winding streets of the old city.
This was one of my favorite cities that I visited in Israel! The Old City Market was great and so was Nazareth Village. I really enjoyed my time here! Just make sure you plan more time for the buses than the apps say because the traffic is terrible!
Nazareth has one of the best locations to visit in Israel, the Nazareth Village. Much better than the Annonciation church (though you can see there some ruins left from biblical Nazareth). Very kind people and hosts where we stayed overnight.
Nazareth
Very well located, just few minutes from Basilica of Nazareth. You can feel like home in common areas, and there is a nice terrace where you can relax. They offer free parking for a car, just a few minutes walk from the place, so you can feel safe about your car deposit :) And as most of the people wrote so far, breakfast is the best part of staying here: it's tasty, portions are big, with a lot of dishes to try, and most important, it's homemade, so it's really delicious.
Nazareth
The owner, or his representative, was wonderful. Got there as soon as we did, made us feel welcome, asked what we needed, gave recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, gave us a map of the city. Really could not have been nicer. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was amazing for the value. We were right smack in the middle of the tourist part of Nazareth, and everything was within easy walking distance.
Nazareth
Epic breakfasts, gorgeous rooftop views, lovely stay. The quiet of the old city and the beauty of stone houses, church bells and muezzins, cafes and bistros, friendly locals — this is so what we needed. Nazareth is out of the way, and worth the trouble. This guest house is the best we’ve found, traveling far and wide in Israel. Michel and Emil treated us like family. We will be back.
Nazareth
Nice guest house. We stayed in Corona times in this guest house and were the only guests. Apart from this house, not many other houses in Nazareth reopened in June 2020. The operator was very nice and helpful. The rooms are big. The kitchen provides everything for small meals but also many (expensive) restaurants are close by.
Nazareth
Wonderful location smack in the middle of old town Nazareth. The building has great character. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony of the common area and savoring the view and cool breezes. The breakfast buffet was good. We found parking right near the building which was great. We are glad we stayed here.
Nazareth
Location is excellent. Close to old city, reachable by foot in few minutes. The owner, french speaker, is very responsive and helpful. He allows us to park our car close to the guest house. Breakfast, with typical israeli food, is taken in a very nice room. Highly recommand Rosana guest house.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The staff was super friendly. We got lucky with street parking right outside the hotel. Breakfast was great despite Corona limitations.
Amazing architecture of the place, truly one of the most authentic stays in Israel. Biggest selection of breakfast you could imagine, and the nicest staff. Warm vibes for the holidays.
Great location for exploring Nazareth. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with tips.
Noisy very early as hotel was full of construction workers having a very early breakfast

Great staff. Good English. They went out of their way for us. It was very eclectic styling. Clean and unique. Lovely courtyard. When we asked to have an early breakfast, they offered to do a takeaway bag with some bread and spreads.
