Located in Madikeri in the Karnataka region, Kabbe Holidays provides accommodations with free private parking. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. The stay was really awesome in the middle of nature, the cottage is located in a coffee estate which is just next to the kabbe hills. we could see the montain ranges from the cottage(deluxe cottage) itself. The rooms were well maintained and the food was really delicious and homely. The hosts Dilip and Vidhya were very friendly and welcoming, loved their hospitality. For those who like hiking and bird watching this is an ideal place. Morning trek to kabbe hills(30-45 min) was the highlight, the forest check post is just 5 min walk from the cottage. It's a place where we would visit again
Well set in Madikeri, The Blue Mountains Estate Stay features accommodations with free WiFi. The most amazing place to stay! Beautiful, clean cottage; gorgeous, home-cooked food; warm, friendly and educated hosts with perfect English. Special treats are the pre-breakfast coffee and scheduled tea breaks (with biscuits) during the day. The garden is beautiful and overlooks coffee plantations and the jungle. The quietness at night was amazing for weary city folk! We cannot recommend Blue Mountains enough. It's worth a trip to the Madikeri area for this homestay. Many thanks to our lovely hostess, Meena, her husband and team. Oh - super comfy beds, too.
Location is Very good...It is a peaceful place to take rest. The mountain and coffee estate views are really good...Rooms are looks clean and it has good size too.The cots were king size cots.I enjoyed much this location. This resort is kind of home stay. But the property looks very big..It is 45 acres land.
This property doesn’t accept any sort of card payments.. I mean.. C’mon.. when the whole country is moving towards cashless payment, this property owner insists on the amount being paid in cash or by IMPS. The property looks good, but the place is overpriced.. the food served at the venue though decent is terribly overpriced. A one night stay for 4 people ended up costing us in excess of 18K. Surely, there are better options at these rates. Oh, n a good old CRT TV went kaput & had to be changed. We had to ask for additional glasses as there were only two in the room for an accomodation booked for 4 people and the list goes on. Entry roads leading upto the property aren’t that great either. There is a small waterfall a short distance away, one needs to walk for around 10 mins to reach it. Oh and you can avail their Jeep service at Rs. 500 per head for a distance of 4 kms and then further continue trekking for another 2 kms to reach tadiyandmol peak and end up blowing some more money in the process.
It is a wonderful place. The solitude is refreshing. The bird watching trips are great for photography.
