The sunset view from the boat is lovely! We had the boat to ourselves. Jimmy picked us up from the airport and Yousuf was onsite to help with any questions and with our meals. My husband was sick and we needed to go to the hospital; Jimmy came right away and helped us at the hospital, too. Wow! It was a quiet and relaxing place to rest and recover. There are many restaurants on the road you can walk to, or easily get an auto to town. Not too many shikara sellers came by, which was good. Wifi also worked very well!

The staff was very prompt and helpful. The houseboat was beautiful and very comfortable.

The houseboat was really great experience for me and my family .Mr Sahil and Mr Inayat were very helpful and friendly.🇴🇲

House Boat Zaindari Palace is located in a serene and peaceful part of Dal Lake. The boat is located at the end of a few boats, so it only has a neighbour on one side that is also owned by the same owner. This is a beautiful part of the lake where you can sit on the deck outside and watch the quiet goings on of life on the lake, along with the amazing birdlife. The lake is surrounded by the Zabarwan mountain range that rises impressively all around the region. The houseboat is beautifully and comfortably furnished with traditional carpets and rugs and timber furniture. The bed in our room was cosy and comfortable. Imran is a kind and honest host. He cooked us delicious homemade meals that filled us and kept us satisfied. He explained the history of the houseboats and more broadly about Kashmir, which we found fascinating. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Thank you, Imran. What a special experience.

Unforgettable Houseboat Stay! This houseboat experience was truly exceptional! From the moment I stepped aboard, I felt welcomed and cared for. Faizan, my host, was absolutely amazing. He treated me like family, ensuring my every need was met with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The houseboat itself was beautifully maintained and offered stunning views. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. I felt completely relaxed and pampered throughout our stay. Faizan's dedication to making my stay memorable was truly appreciated. I never felt like a guest, but rather like I was staying with family. I highly recommend this houseboat to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable experience . Thank you, Faizan, for making our stay so special.

I had a very pleasant stay at New Jacqueline Heritage Houseboats. The property was beautifully kept and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. They arranged a shikara ride on the lake, which was a highlight. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great views of the Nageen Lake, peaceful surrounding combined with a fantastic hospitality by the Gurkha team. Manager and staff were nice folks and looked after us well. It was a truly memorable stay in one of the best scenic places on earth. Slightly expensive but worth the experience.
