Even though google has listed this as a 3 star hotel it is more like a 4 star.
The location is great situated on the main road but it is still very quiet.
There are some nice restaurants walking distance and also a short drive into the main attractions
The service was attentive and great.

It was very quite stay and the bed was super comfy. Parking was in right front of the hotel, so less hassle. Breakfast is parcelled and delivered to your room directly. Free two water bottles, coffee and tea. Overall a comfortable stay!

We had a very rushed 2 day trip, and since the weather was very warm, we did not venture out during the day.
I would plan at least 3 days in order to visit all the sites (temples and art showrooms, etc) at leisure and also some time for shopping.
The Temples of course are a must-see - one of the most beautiful in all of India, and do take some time out for shopping as well to try out the food options.

You should definitely visit the Brihadeeswara temple.
You should definitely visit the Brihadeeswara temple. The ideal time to go is in the morning around 9 am. Two reasons.. Less crowd. Next one, the sun is at the correct angle to take some great pics. Should try the Tanjore meals while you are there

Brihadeeswara Temple is a must see.
Brihadeeswara Temple is a must see. Maratha Palace not worth the time. Its in a dilapidated state.
Public transport connect to the tourist attractions is the worst. Auto rickshaws are very expensive - Rs. 150 for about 1.5 kms distance. City toads are narrow and having heavy traffic.
Good vegetarian options available.

Most of the Historic places and landmarks are located close to each other and within walkable distance from our hotel. In shopping area driving is bit difficult parking is difficult. Going by walk is a better option.

a small tinsel town with lots to explore in detail. spend quality time to absorb the history and cuisine of this place. Done forget to pick up with brass utensils which are of high quality. A couple of reputed household utensils shops will help you find your daily utility product.

Safest place to visit in Tamilnadu.
Safest place to visit in Tamilnadu. You can get traditional South Indian foods like Idly, Masala Dosai, Filter coffee etc., Thanjavur Big temple built by King Raja Raja Chozhan and near by many temples and sculptures you can visit. If you travel little away from city you can see agricultural land and south indian villages. Best place in Tamilnadu to know about Indian heritage and life style. The hotel is easy to access by car and not far from the Thanjavur Big Temple. Perfect for a week end trip. A guest will have all the facilities they could need : spa, pool (you can even buy a swimsuit if you forgot yours), badminton court, children's games (trampoline, ...). And if you are physically impaired, not to worry, there are stairs and slopes, everywhere.

Property is located in such a beautiful place away from the main road, no noise at all, it was so peaceful and calm in the middle of nature. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good and healthy. Plus all the staff were very polite and cooperative
