I loved everything about this hotel Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere The Seaview were great! my room had a river&sea view and just nearby the church and beach 200mtrs only Elevator available and Seaview are top-notch and 24 hrs we get hotwater and also good water I recommended to my friends and relatives

The property is clean and well kept. The restaurant is good with good food options. The items in the minibar are reasonably priced with no major markups unlike other hotels. This is my 3rd visit over last 12 years and seems the place has been renovated.

We went with family for a two day stay. We did a last minute booking, but we don't regret the decision. The rate was a bit higher, but the location is very good. You can just walk to the church. The staff were very good and co-operative. Food was delicious. Next time also, we will stay here only. Will recommend to everyone.

    I went there for religious purpose and it was beyond my...

    I went there for religious purpose and it was beyond my expectations. However, in terms of cleanliness the city isn't known for that and the beggars can be a nuisance. In terms of safety, we were out up to 22:00 hours without any worries. Need to bargain before purchasing.

    Holy place. Good to attend mass at Main/Old church.

    Holy place. Good to attend mass at Main/Old church. Three more churches are there around. Must to visit Mother Mary's pond. Eateries are there around the place. Dravidar, Saravanas, Sea gate are good ones to get in.

    I like velankanni church.. it looks beautiful and clean...

    I like velankanni church.. it looks beautiful and clean... beach is also good... more pilgrimage peoples are everywhere and bathing in beach... lot of stores like toys and daily use items... specifically the food... good restaurants with variety of foods... veg and nonveg... i like the tawa rosted fish fry... its delicious...

    Velankanni church is always a blessing to us

    Velankanni church is always a blessing to us we always try to visit the church when ever possible. usually its every two years the entering of the area makes us feel so blessed and it gives such a calming and peaceful feeling both mentally and physically. its the environment and holiness in the location.

    Velankanni is a Christian pilgrimage centre.

    Velankanni is a Christian pilgrimage centre. Millions come here every year and the church and the local governing bodies benefit from this. However, the facilities are limited and there are no proper hygienic facilities, foot path, clean drinking water etc. Church could spend a part of their offerings for the upliftment of the surroundings and the people living around. Similarly local governing bodies also could spend on roads, footpaths, public toilets, drinking water etc.

    Velangkanni was the most beautiful town so holy and...

    Velangkanni was the most beautiful town so holy and spiritual. We felt full of joy while being there. But the sight of beggars and corrupt security guards demanding for money has felt behind a negative opinion.
