United StatesEverything about this property was amazing. The views of the fjord were amazing, from both inside and outside of the villa. Absolutely breathtaking. The interior was clean, spacious, thoughtfully designed and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the property was quiet. We really enjoyed the sauna and plunge pool. The hosts were very friendly and appropriately communicative. We had a wonderful stay. The property did not have a TV or WiFi, which was not an issue for us, but may not be ideal for everyone.

Our room had a sea view. The breakfast was excellent. I appreciate the observation tower. We even saw the aurora borealis. I liked the relaxation zone the most. The northern lights viewing point, the hot tub, the sauna, the snooker table and the dart board were amazing value add-ons. They had coffee/tea/hot cocoa through the day at their restaurant, and a kitchenette to microwave meals. Highly recommended stay option near Akureyri. Lots of facilities like sauna and hot tub and common areas (though sadly we didn’t get a chance to use them, maybe next time!). Lovely breakfast with sweet and savoury options. We specifically chose the hotel because of the spa, sauna and relaxation area. Breakfast was good, everything you would expect. We were in a separate building away from the main house. The room was small, no problem, but instead of a double bed we had two single mattresses together. They were quite hard. Otherwise everything was perfect.
