Our stay was wonderful! The cottage was cozy, warm, and had everything we needed. A special highlight was their two amazing dogs, Freya and Askur—such gentle and playful companions. Our 3-year-old absolutely loved playing with them (more than an hour in the cold), and it was such a nice touch to have dog toys in the cottage. The location was also perfect, with windows facing the northern lights direction. After three winter trips to the Nordic countries, we finally got to see the northern lights—right from the comfort of our warm cottage at 1 AM! It was truly a magical experience, and we were actually sad to leave.

The house was so beautiful, very modern on the inside with a huge, well equipped kitchen and big cozy couches. The room was also very nice, warm, and cozy. The hot tub with a view was also great. Thanks for a great stay!

Property was easily located. Once inside very clean and comfortable. Many “extra” details noted including charging area, some toiletries. Soft towels. The sofa bed converted easily and was large and comfortable. Would be great as a low key getaway but also a nice home base for a small family. Games, maps and information on area attractions all available. We easily could have done much of our touring from there.

The restaurant served up some delicious duck confit & chicken leg. It was one of my favourite meals. It was also located right on a pretty private beach that was an excellent spot to view auroras. I appreciated that the room had a good selection of teas & coffee. The owners are not very particular where you're parked so parking spaces were ample.

This hotel offers relaxing outdoor hot tubs, an 18-hole golf course and activities such as whale watching and snowmobile safaris. Reykjavik and Snæfellsnes National Park are a 1-hour drive away.

When we arrived, bunch of sheep’s were welcoming us, giving us a pass to our room. (We arrived very late but the owner was incredibly flexible with the check in) Cute farm near to the capital. Interesting experience and really nice farm.

I love everything about this place! Great location, next to waterfall, Troll theme hiking trail great for kids, excellent restaurant and best of all the music lounge where you request to play a record and relax with a drink and a view. Oh, and a great place to see the aurora!

Fantastic house with great, spacious lounging areas. Dinner was great and well worth every dollar. Olafur was excellent jn communicating location, nearby attractions and even the dinner menu through messaging. That allowed us to book beforehand for a table and choose what we wanted to have. Room was clean and very comfortable.
