The staff was friendly and helpful. The man who showed us to our room warned us that there would be inclement weather the next morning, and he was right. The room was clean and comfortable. The included buffet breakfast made it easy for us to get going in the morning.

Incredible stay. This is a perfect place to stay if you are doing the Ring Road, like we did, or before/after a day trip around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. We liked our stay so much that we decided to stay for an extra night after visiting the peninsula. It is quiet, remote, and incredibly peaceful. Imagine, after a long drive, you arrive, self-check in, and find a heated jacuzzi waiting for you. Sitting in the jacuzzi while looking out at the surrounding mountains, listening to swans and ducks, was such a special experience. Afterwards, you can cook a meal in the kitchen, which has all the appliances and equipment you may need. At night, we went outside to chase the northern lights, and we were lucky to see them in mid-April. We stayed as a party of three, and the cabin was perfect for us. The owner was very friendly and responsive, usually replying within 10 minutes, and kindly accommodated a special request, which I really appreciated. There are two cabins in total, but they are thoughtfully positioned so you don’t see your neighbors from the jacuzzi or the windows, which makes the stay feel very private. Highly recommend this place.

House was very big with a nice sun room with a huge dining set. My group of 6 friends loved it with its games, sitting area, and big windows. Nice view of the surroundings (farmland), feels like in the middle of nowhere. There were many rooms available to sleep in. Kitchen was fully functional with a view. 2 toilets but one bath only.

The room was very spacious and clean and had an amazing view of the mountains on Snaesfellsnes peninsula. If it hadn't been cloudy and aurora activity had been high when we stayed, it would have been possible to see the northern lights directly from the window. The breakfast was amazing and an incredible value for the money. The owners were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here!
