These rooms are centrally located and well appointed. We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a washing machine. The bathroom was larger than most as well. Management was quick to respond to our inquiries - great service!

We absolutely loved this place. The owner, the "Elf Lady," is simply amazing—so kind, caring, and welcoming. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, clearly prepared with love and attention to every detail. We only regretted that we had to continue our journey, because this is the kind of place that deserves a much longer stay. We truly hope to come back one day.

Fossadalur Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! I wish we could have stayed a few more nights. The four of us booked two rooms that were beside each other upstairs, and it was lovely. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Kris and Marta were amazing - they were helpful, kind, and super nice. Kris helped me find a sweater knit by a local lady, and it saved the day by keeping me warm when the winds were blowing in Bakkergerdi. I highly recommend this lovely little place in the most beautiful valley. A gem, for sure.

Featuring lake views, Lindarbrekka in Djúpivogur provides accommodations and a garden. This farm stay features free private parking, luggage storage space, and free Wifi.

The cabin is cute and cozy. It is spacious, with a sitting area, kitchen, and separate bedroom. The bathroom is modern. Everything was clean. The location is fabulous, near the end of a gorgeous fjord. Self check-in worked well so that we did not need to disturb the owners. The cabins are on a sheep farm and there were a lot of sheep and lambs. The owners are super friendly and showed us around their sheep barns. We had everything we could need. Highly recommended!
